A newbie mistake is to think that EDP vs EDT is just same formula but differing concentrations... in fact when I started out I used to think that EDP will have stronger silage and longevity than EDT.

But in most cases they have different formulas and thus are different perfumes altogether, and it would (as usual) be best to just smell them and test them on your skin.

there are also instances where EDT outperforms EDP in all departments...

Sometimes the EDP may mean the concentration is higher but it stays closer to the skin longer. No performance or sillage. Women's perfume is EDP usually and theirs projects more from what I have seen.

I maybe wrong but Jasina may have the old Rive Gauche. Seen it floating around a few places.

Yes I've seen it there too... I remember the prices weren't good. Fragrancex is better.

There was a time, maybe 1 year or so back when fragrancex had it for ~20usd per bottle (tin-can version) and someone shared it in basenotes. I hesitated, missed it and I now regret.

Used before the following
Issey Miyake
Mont Blanc Legend
Terre D'Hermes
Clinque Happy

Need something that has a special scent along the above lines but cheap and lasting for use as a daily driver

Anyone here using the Chanel platinum egoistic? I finished my bottle so went to get new one, then found out it has changed packaging. Also, I feel the scent is slightly different too now, the first feel isn't as strong as the old one.

Smell wise does it differ alot to you? Maybe it's diluted as you mention, I find it not as potent. Maybe I give it a few more days usage see how...

Hey guys, do you know where can I buy/test Dubai brands like Rasasi/Armaf/Lattafa locally? Or are they even available here?
