For others reading this, Mont Blanc Legend is a safe option if you're starting out. Mont Blanc is the first level tier of deep bit-fresh-bit menthol-bit woody scents. From there you can progress to Paco Rabonne's One Million (smells like bubblegum to me) and then you could try Dunhill Desire Blue/Red, Hugo Boss, Davidoff, Kenneth Cole Black for men etc.
Different people will enjoy varying longevity and projection. Cos it's down to a variety of variables like skin type, which part of your body you spray the perfume on (for me its always once puff behind each ear and on the sides of the neck). The only way to find out which perfume is for you is to try out till you find 'the one'. There is no right answer and there is absolutely no need to 'go with the flow'. Stick with whatever works for you.
But do bear in mind. Singapore's weather is pathetic so unless its a cold rainy day or if you're in an air-conditioned environment, using perfume is a waste of time and effort. You would be better off using Adidas Sport.
