You like Sauvage? Had it but didnt really work well on my skin. So I got DHI and The One(which I want to sell)

Let me guess , you got The One EDP after Jeremy's review on Youtube?
These scents (YSL La Nuit also) are not too well suited for our equatorial weather .
I got a Tom Ford Extreme tester , nice & Strong but not suited for hot weather.

Hhah.. Some tips from my years of buying.
Test a perfume on yourself at least 5 times before you buy.
Dont buy ..
- without trying
- based on someone else's reviews
- based on notes in fragrantica
- because someone says it's nice

I have a lot of unwanted bottles from my early days of reckless buying, almost 1 or 2 new bottle every week. I gave away a whole bunch of them since I won't use them...

Nah always wanted to get it. The EDT was too soft. Got the EDP and like the scent. But after wearing it out a few times, I got jelak of the scent (if that makes sense) TF Extreme is based off an indian ice cream called kulfi. If you are in little india or a punjabi restaurant serving naan, pop by some air con restaurants and try it. Smells like TF Extreme :) and yep its for cooler weather.

actually not easy to test more than 5 times without feeling awkward :o

unless u test from several different places

another pointer i find useful is test on your skin instead of scent card so can observe how the scent change

dont use any fragrance when u go for testing

yea lo. test 5 times a bit hard unless get decants

Most perfumes are stock in more than 1 place, so you can easily test them at different counters, duty free, mustafa, etc.

Even niche brands .. I test a few times before buying, after a while they remember me by face, since I end up buying eventually.

Those sales assistants who gave the scorned look during my testing phase will obviously not get my sales when I decide to buy. While those who are welcoming even when I'm clueless, testing and deciding, I will definitely make it a point to look for them when I make a purchase even if it's out of the way.
