SOTD: Dior's Eau Sauvage.
I'd forgotten how sparkling the opening notes of citrus are (even more than Fragonard's Cologne Grand Luxe). They lasted about an hour into the morning. The floral mid-notes were very muted after that.
Surprisingly, the base notes of musk and amber made a welcome reappearance after lunch; nice!
Don't think it'll last till knock off time though.

Terre d'hermes tres fraiche and Acqua di gio profumo definitely bottle worthy IMO. Both regulars in my rotation

Still loving my JPG Popeye and Armaf Tres Nuit for those extra hot days.

Lol no originality
use eros or pure malt. something that can last the sweat and cold

On the contrary, Terre de Hermes and ADG Profumo are scents most suitable for the office. I have Eros too but i cannot see myself wearing this for the office with a nice shirt and tie on. Eros strike me as more of a night time scent when u are going out to club or dates

It all comes down to what u like actually. Personally i wouldn't recommend anything strong and overpowering as it may offend people around u. Also u prefer designer or niche fragrances ? Myself, I'm not that much of a niche fan as i find a lot of them totally unwearable, one example is penhaligons lothair, description of the fragrance is that it's inspired by some sort of trading of spices on wooden boats from Middle East to the west( something like that). I have the fragrance and it smells good but i just find it unwearable for many occasions. I do however can recommend a few from designer side. Dior Homme, something different and unique that u won't find many people using. Acqua di gio profumo, masculine and mysterious, aquatic and salty vibe. Bleu de Chanel EDP, crowd pleaser and inoffensive. YSL L'homme also very nice, soft sweet and creamy.

Btw all these are best for office wearing.

My current favourite office scent is something i just acquired, prada l'homme, different take on Dior Homme without the chocolate note

P.S do not use Dior Homme for anything other then office or formal occasions. U will smell stupid, trust me. Hope this helps

TF Oud wood is nice, have you tried TF Grey Vetiver? For me its a good formal scent.

When i had my old bottle of DH (around 2007 to 2009?) I used to wear it for almost everything, but then again I was almost always dressed in black jeans and black boots :D:D

I think it can work for more casual tee and jeans outfits, but you need that rock and roll vibe that channels the DH persona - like slouchy tee, skinny jeans, cuban heels and messy hair :s12:

It strikes me off as a more formal kinda scent, but then again perfumes are very personal and u should wear what u like. So long as u have that confident persona about yourself :D :s12:

yeah was referring to the comment that they smelt a few guys in sauvage at zouk.

eros is definitely night time. no way you can wear that in an office setting.
another interesting office scent to consider (especially if you're in the creative field) is the shanghai tang line. really soft scent but really nicely done. there's an orange one which is jade dragon or mandarin tea. not sure if anyone has tried it but wow

For downcast days like today, I rock Zara's Rich Warm Addictive. Very similar to Raghba by Lataffa but more subdued and mellow.
