Ah thanks much will take a look.

Wonder which neighbouring countries that are good for fragrance shopping? Preferably niche/classic designer frags or niche houses.

And among the European countries, I would suppose Paris will be the destination to go for frag ?

No worries, $50 to $100 is more than enough to get you most good designer fragrances. You can start by going for smaller bottles first (50ml); bigger bottles, though cheaper ml by ml, should be procured only if you are confident of the juice. Can shop around at Mustafa or other big departmental stores if want to get non-grey market fragrances which have longer expiry dates. Watch out for year end holiday sales.

And yes...Nautica Voyage is a good choice ! Not sure what category of frag (woody, fresh, flowery, etc ) you like but I will just throw a few budget classics I like apart from Voyage: Azzaro Chrome (fresh aquatic) about $50 for 100ml, CK Eternity (aromatic woody citrus) about $35 for 50ml, Tommy by Tommy Hilfiger (fresh spicy) about $40 for 100ml. All available in major dept stores or Mustafa.

wah thanks for sharing!

Can you help me guys on my first niche fragrance? My signature scent is Terre d'Hermes EDP/EDT. my budget is 400 or less, no creeds please. I tested most of it already at tang's, it doesn't perform well on my skin. Haven't tried any other houses. Looking for an everyday office scent but i want it loud, beast mode projection if there's such a thing and of course it should be wearable based on SG weather. Thanks in advance.

Finally received molecule 01 today. One of the few fragrances which I'm really excited to try mainly because of such extreme mixed reviews given. Some say it projects well whereas some say they don't smell a thing.

Well, after my super quick unboxing, sprayed on 2 to 3 sprays, waited few seconds and tried it. First impressions, smelt a little like alcohol... Maybe alcohol swabs? Was very very very faint though, I had to literally put my nose at my wrist and take a deep sniff. Waited a little longer, it changed to a slightly 'cleaner' scent but still largely synthetic based scent.

It's been 5 hours now, good news is the scent is still on my wrist. Bad news is, that's about it, it just stays that way on my wrist and unless someone is gonna grab my wrist and take a deep long sniff, no one is gonna smell it... Including myself.

For anyone who wants to know how nothing smells like, I'm willing to let go on the cheap

Try xerjoff and parfums de marly at fragrance du bois in Scotts square. They should have a few that will work well in an office setting.

Ahh...that's unfortunate to know! I guess taking a purchase risk is always inevitable in the fragrance game! Really wonder how Molecule 02, 03, or 04 smells like but I bet they are quite similar since they are pretty controversial too..

Try visiting Taka Level 3 for the Maven corner? They carry a good range of niche houses (from France, Netherlands, Italy etc) e.g. The Different Company, Eclat Libre D'Orange. Prices are quite fair especially during sales (e.g. Taka member sales). Got new stuff now and then too.

Been looking at fragrances, and noticed that Carousell also sell some fragrances at 20ml, claiming it's "repackaged". Heard some peeps here also buy decants from carousell, so went to take a look.

https://carousell.com/p/one-million-by-paco-rabanne-137805362/?ref=profile&ref_referrer=%2Fscarletthan%2F&ref_sId=5957684

Are those legit, or just some fake that only mimics the topnote?

That being said, what's out there that is similar to sauvage in terms of scent and longevity? Sauvage is damn common nowadays.

Currently only using L'eau issey pour homme and Boss Bottled (can't even last an hour on my skin)

ah no, those are bottles bought from DFS
the boss bottled one is kinda old though, bout 2 years
Dfs should be the real deal, just that perfume itself doesn't last. 20ml ones even official brands dont carry them, hence authenticity is a valid concern.

Decants on carousell are those spray from big bottles into little 5ml bottles with no label. So far those I bought were ok.

Judging from your join date and past posts, evidently you are in the forum to advertise for them. Nonetheless, info is noted.

Performance is not bad and for its price point I would say it'll be a safe blind buy. Opening is indeed similar to aventus but the dry down is more synthetic for me as compared to aventus. Overall still a good buy

Anyone have the armaf club de nuit intense ? What's the performance like ?

I feel like blind buying it lol.
