I got an authentic bottle from Bonjour Cosmetics before, but again with discounters like them you can never be 100% sure that they're authentic. I considered paying another 50% more to get from a retailer, but nah haha

Did you buy from Bonjour Cosmetics website or their warehouse? Their website seems like it has not been updated for a couple of years and I'm skeptical buying from their website. Where else would you recommend buying fragrances from?

I know no one is really interested, but I just wanna close the loop I opened: the Dior at Tang Plaza also does not have Dior Homme Eau. From the looks of it, it's only obtainable from overseas.

Anyway, I sampled YSL La Nuit de L'Homme and the combination of the cardamom and lavender smells very similar to Prada L'Homme to me, down to how sweet both smell. The kicker is the YSL is listed as winter, and the Prada is listed as summer. I think this is telling me to wear whatever the hell I want as long as it's reasonable.

I bought from their Qoo listing. I agree the website looks super dated. If they revamped it to look professional and clean, I'm sure they'd get better business given their prices.

I'm not familiar with other online sellers unfortunately.

Hi question for buying on FragranceX, I believe the perfumes there are authentic?

And also for shipping wise, should I refer to the cost (Worldwide Standard Shipping), similar to the photo which I post? Any other charges other than the perfume+shipping+FX cost?

Try between the 15% discount code vs free shopping. See which can get you the most saving.
Couple it with befrugal 1% rebate.

Once you entered the promo code for FSW, and on the shipping selection screen, you will see one of the shipping option is $0.

Thx for advice!

So the promo code is used under Worldwide standard shipping right?

Never tried the OG profumo so I can't do a comparison. Heard people saying it's 99.9% similar, 100% similar and also they aren't similar with some distinct differences.

Everyone's taste (sense of scent) is different, hence it's very subjective. Unless you smell both, tmr take those comments with a pinch of salt.

:( that sucks

I just recalled that I've seen ADG Profumo at Metro before. Have you tried there? Profumo can be used as a daily driver or special occasion. Really it's up to what you think about the fragrance. For me it's daily driver worthy, but definitely not something I'd want if people are going to be stuck in close quarters with me cause this thing projects a fair bit.

How would you compare Special Blend to Profumo? I'm interested in the more prominent incense notes, but it seems it's not different enough to be worth the money. I believe it's a limited edition as well.

Anyone checked out Prada Amber Pour Homme? It's smooth and clean without being cloyingly sweet like L'Homme.

Despite the name, it has no amber, which I believe is what gives L'Homme the sweetness. After trying out all the ambroxan bombs today, Amber feels mature, unique and subtle. Very close to just getting a full bottle :s13:

Picked up a tester of this from Luxasia warehouse sale years back... just smells like nice lavender soap to me...

Where do you guys get decant bottles from? Daiso doesn't seem to have them anymore. Found some at Muji and The Green Party, but both are plastic.

Yeah, that was where I tested! I'll have to check the price but cheapest I found was about $50+ for 50ml.

That's what I get too. I love that because I get a bit self-conscious when wearing fragrances, so this is great for smelling great without being too loud.

Maybe you want to try Infusion D'Iris as well?

Thanks for the suggestion! I actually just came from the Infusion D'Homme and D'Iris Cedre page from Fragrantica :s13: Heard that D'Iris Cedre is a reformulated Infusion D'Homme, which gets compared to Amber a lot.

I tested D'Iris at Isetan a few days back but there was something in there that smelled like old paper.

I'll have to test it and D'Iris Cedre again =:p

How's the performance on Artisan Pure for you? I only get about 4-5 hours before it becomes a skin scent. It's one of those fragrances where you gotta overspray and/or spray on the clothes to get decent performance

I currently have one hand with vaseline and the other without, trying to see if there's any way I can get it to perform better lol

Yes, Artisan pure is about 4-5hours. I will usually spray again in the noon.
Longevity is its weakest. Else it would be perfect.
