I liken Bucephalus XI to a rainy/cloudy day or night scent. Not that suitable for hot sunny days. I don’t think it’s worse. It’s just different.

If you want a really smooth Aventus clone, try Afnan Supremacy Silver. It’s smoooth. It’s how CDNIM should be in the opening. I layer this with Creed Aventus. I go crazy with the Afnan on my skin, then go 3 sprays of Aventus on my clothes. Works great.

If you don’t want the harsh opening of CDNIM but more performance than Afnan, try L’Aventure. Still very good.

Where to spray?

Hey guys, i noticed that my strong scents disappear really quickly in Singapore. Any tips on where you guys spray? Do you still spray on your pulse points or on your shirt? When I spray on my neck and chest, they tend to disappear quickly once I start sweating... Thanks in advance!

Same here, it’s to do with the heat I’m guessing. The same bottles performs way way better when I’m overseas (cooler climate)

I spray on both my pulse points (wrist only) and on my clothes. They tend to last longer on my clothes. Be careful not to spray it too close as it may stain certain fabrics

EDT is different from EDP is different from Parfum.

If your big bottle’s concentration was not EDP, then yes, it will be different.

Far enough that 100% of the spritz will hit the skin. Different atomiser, different cone area.

Maybe you're anosmic to it? It'll varies across different skin. Some last long, some short.

Which batch? 2019 ones have lousy longevity to me. The 2017 ones perform far better. Waste my money buying it last year.

For me; Supremacy Silver and L’Aventure are far better propositions as Aventus clones in 2020.

Just got the CDNI limited edition EDP.. opening is strong pineapple cum lemon note and dun have that so call harsh lemon opening. The dry down is much better quality juice compare to normal CDNI.. As for Bucephalus xi is more of a smokey vanilla flavoured less musky creed aventus.

layering Bucephalus xi with CDNI is almost 99% like CDNI EDP..
