Versace Oud Noir is a good one to try. Woody, spicy and a little sweet but never gets too sweet.

Keep in mind most designers use aromachemicals to replicate the oud accord and/or they only have trace amounts of oud to the point where it's legally permissible to say their fragrance contains oud, but the oud is barely or not noticeable to the nose.

Nothing wrong with that, and niche houses do that too, just need to remember that what you're picking up may not actually be oud, but:
- a stripped down version of oud made to be more wearable
- an aromachemical replication, whether accurate or not
- some other woody note

Also remember that there are different variants of oud which vary in terms of how skanky, rubbery or creamy they are.

Nice nice! I love woody notes so I am looking forward to try oud. I ordered boss and Versace. Shall see how this goes.

I just received the perfumes. Took a quick whiff and decided to spray the Versace. Really like it. Just a slight hint of sweetness and I like the spice notes.

When I try to sniff the boss oud. It felt more woody but there is this synthetic kind of smell. But it was a quick one as I had to go out. I will probably try that tomorrow.

Been a user to the Versace Pour Homme for years, how does this Oud Noir compare to the Pour Homme version? Any places to try it given its covid now

The pour Homme is the light blue bottle? I had that and it easy to wear and more to a fruity note if I remember correctly. It’s smells good in the morning. The oud to me is more woody and more to an evening spray. My taste is more of a woody aroma now so most of my perfume are woody type of aroma

Very different, only similarity is the bottle. VPH is a clean citrus floral, Oud Noir is a mildly spicy and sweet woody scent. It has some similarities to Oud Wood, but I've never been able to do a side-by-side comparison before.

Oud Noir can be tried in Metro and some Sephoras.

I’ve been using mont blanc for so long. Never been able to switch to other brands at all. Starwalker n legends just grew into me. Recently my friend gave me a xmas present versace blue bottle homme. Not bad but i still prefer all my mont blanc smells.

Time for a change. Go for prada, very easy to pull off with their luna rossa line or L'homme line.
