Anyone tried ivre subscription before? I'm thinking of getting some designer perfume like creed aventus which is too expensive just to try multiple scent?

IMO, when you have absolutely no idea what a fragrance smells like then there is an element of risk towards getting decants from unknown sources. Take the subscription service you mentioned. They charge the same flat fee for everything from common designer frags like Versace to pricey niche brands like MFK and Penhaligons. This itself is a red flag. Hell, they even have Armaf clones available like Club de Nuit Men intense which is a dupe of Aventus. So whats stopping them from passing that off as Aventus to con people who don't know better?

If you want to try out Creed fragrances, there are official 2.5ml sample vials being sold online. Or maybe you can go down to their boutique at Raffles City shopping center.

Creed is not the old Creed company anymore.
Watching reviews on the latest batch, they dont last long.
So paying that price for it is a no for me.

If you planning to buy its better you go to their boutique to test.

Creed is quite literally, not the old Creed anymore since the perfume house just very very recently got bought over by the company that owns Gucci. Creed does have some pretty nice creations but tough to justify the price point when there are clones out there that are just as good, if not even better and only costing a mere fraction,

Folks, is it just me? I find the some of Lattafa testers at Mustafa smell very different from the actual products. I have tried a few which I don't like, a bit sour and weird. But I just bought a new one home, and I love the scent which is totally not as what the tester smell like.

Their tester bottles 24 hours on the shelves exposed in the open with cap and sprayer removed of course the smell will turn. There is a reason why its recommended to store your perfume bottles in a dark and dry place, away from direct sunlight and humidity.

Went to Mustafa yesterday, they seem to just stock a lot of lataffa and other Arabic perfumes now.

Wanted to get Armaf's Milestone but they only have CDNIM, imperiale and iconic

Reformulations tend to happen to keep up with IFRA safety regulations, don't be surprised if they did.

On the internet people are still saying their are variations even in the latest 2023 batches

Mustafa's Lattafa phase has pretty much come and gone. Apart from restocking Khamrah, don't think they brought in anything new in the past month or so. Whatever leftover Lattafa stock they currently have is like less than half of what they were stocking during the very peak. Like @blazin mentioned, currently Mustafa flooded with 香蕉共和国.

Got a bottle of Guess Los Angeles 1981 for $30 on my most recent trip down, Supposed to be a Versace Eros edt clone but with a more prominent plum note. Have not done extended wearing to judge performance but i quite like it so far.

Add: The Guess LA 1981 not a good performer. Skin scent after 30mins. On clothes last around 1 hr. Would say its not very close to Eros. Opening is plum prominent with the dry down being closer to Eros but moot point with such poor longevity. Not sure if i got a bad bottle but would see if it gets better with maceration.

From watching lots of videos on fragrance.
Creed Avantis has the most variation throughout the years.
Some batch more smoky than others and some old batches are more expensive than others due to certain qualities that people like.. Till current batch it's not lasting anymore.

Been using Aventus for a long time, since it launched in 2010.

Don’t waste money on it in 2023. It’s nothing like what it’s supposed to be, and longevity is dismal.
