Any bro here uses Chanel perfume? Can recommended which one is good? My lady friend told me Chanel makes the best perfume for ladies & men. I know nuts abt perfume, just wanna get one for daily use.

I'm using Bleu De Chanel, its quite ok for me. The smell is not too strong, just nice. However i'm not sure if its my incorrect application problem or is it that the projection is not that good. Friends didn't really notice it until I tell them, but you can smell the fragrance of it constantly.

How does the Vetiver Oriental compare to other vetiver scents, like Guerlain or Encre Noire?

I find Guerlain Vetiver too soapy, have not tried vintage version since can't find any.
Encre Noire slightly dry and abit 'dark' (maybe a bit hard to pull it off here). Been quite a long time since I tried EN so maybe I could have remembered wrongly :s13:
VO is like vetiver dusted/coated with chocolate. Not sure if you can still find it here, last time I saw it was a few months back at Paragon.
U might want to try Tom Ford Grey Vetiver if you like vetiver, or Malle's Vetiver Extraordinaire. Heard it is damn good!

the 3 on the left, what type of scent is it?

have not seen it in sg before...
summarise abit for u:

Chene:
Top Notes
Sap notes, Cedar Crystals, Black Thyme

Middle Notes
Silver Birch, Rum, Beeswax, Oak

Base Notes
"Undergrowth" note, Tonka

quality oak scent, unique, 1 of the best from Serge Lutens.

Vetiver Oriental:
The top notes :herbal green juices, iris and woodsy notes of branches;
the heart introduces vetiver root, Guaiac wood, and chocolate; the drydown reveals musk, amber, sandalwood and labdanum.

check my post above

Fumerie Turque:
Notes: currants, white honey, candied Turkish rose, Egyptian jasmine, smoked leather, beeswax, Balkan tobacco, Peru balsam, patchouli, tonka bean, styrax, juniper, vanilla.

still need to further test this :o

Serge Lutens mostly produce oriental scents, u can find them in Escentials (Tangs, Paragon, MBS, Vivocity - small collection though)

I actually like Guerlain Vetiver a lot, but the longevity is quite bad. Encre Noire is really harsh on the nose. Those are the only 2 vetivers I've tried.

I've only tried a few Serge Lutens before, the one I like the most is Ambre Sultan. But still not ready to spend so much yet.

I have only spent full retail price for SL once (Chergui)
Rest are all used bottles/purchased online :o

I've had problems with projection using Bleu too, started applying moisturiser before spraying and it helps.
