if you just want to walk around and do the testing by yourself, lots of departmental stores allow that. paragon's metro and taka would be good places to start.

you can go to certain shops in Chinatown area or Lucky Plaza which ish muchh cheaper too the fragrance counters in dept stores, however the counter also offer free gifts like bags and pouches that value add to your spending more with them while those independent shops dunch offer.
