Buying at a shop

Hey guys...

Just to let you guys know that Jasina is not the cheapest afterall. Like what was mentioned, some items cheaper some more ex.

For example... I sell montblanc legend at $78.00 last month. My cost for e.g $60.00.
I need to clear my stocks before selling at competitive rate: $55.00. But If I can't clear my old stocks with old cost of goods, I cannot start selling at competitive rate with my new cost price offered, for e.g: $47.00.

For DFS, Clinique happy for men is so far the cheapest and worth buying over there. I guess the rest of the perfumes are not exclusive price and not worth buying except for the gift sets. haha

Mustafa is reliable for checking price. Don't think you can bargain there. Be careful cause a lot of perfumes are imported. Just like their watches/cameras. Some are local warranty some are international warranty.

Easy - If your perfume is by Local distributor you're safe, if not, you must check the product before purchasing.

Easy to know if it's local distributor. Side bottom of perfumes usually sticked with a square sticker.
It will show the distributor of your perfume. For e.g: Procter & Gamble Pte Ltd, Luxasia Pte Ltd.etc.....

Alternatively u can dl redlaser at your phone and scan the barcode of the box. Image and details of products should appear.:)

A sticker is guarantee of safety? Really? At Dollars & Scents @Lucky Plaza all have such stickers and look genuine but from what I read perfumes they are selling are diluted...

And what is a considered a good price? Perfume Les Paris is selling 100ml for S$90 or $83.70 for members.

Cheaper perfumes can just be parallel imports? Or they uses other means of transporting which can lower the unit cost. It's not that these perfumes are cheap, it is just that those counters are selling too expensive.

Correct me if im wrong, just my 2cents ;)

How is the juice? give us a review leh. Worth to buy?

Hmm the opening of this scent is really beautiful. As a whole, it reminds me of chamomile tea with honey. There's also this powder vibe that may put you off if you dislike powdery scents. I get excellent longevity(10-12 hrs) every time and sillage, though average, is just perfect. Although I wear my perfumes whenever I want, this fragrance does seem to be more suitable for more formal settings.

And oh, SOTD: Ambre Narguile :D

Try to answer the questions raised.
Paraimport goods.
why are they cheaper? A lot of factors can explain.

1. Global currency. Say theres a sasa branch in new york usa.. For those who reads forex will know how much us dollar strengthen. Assuming US branch sells the same price of davidoff coolwater in singapore. It is not advisable if I buy in US at this point of time because US dollar increases. I should buy it when it weakens so im able to enjoy better rates right? Just like buying currency.same logic.

2.Grade A perfumes. You can find fake perfumes easily in certain region. I do not wanna say where. Just google grade A perfumes and u can find plenty at much lower price. Sadly some sell them because of goos profits. You'll be surprised how similar can these perfumes be to the original ones.

3. Supply vs demand.for e.g. ck be perfume is not in demand in sg. A retailer has no way selling these stocks away in sg. Hence there must be a buyer in overseas. To clear stocks is to sell at cheaper cost some may go to the least. Same happening in overseas.

Btw what other means of transport are u refering to?

Stickers
no they dont guarantee if the perfume is genuine. QR reader is better if u have the application to give u a peace of mind.

THanks!

Speaking of Ambre Narguile, I want to get a 15ml bottle from Hermes in Changi Airport. As well as 1 Vetiver Tonka.
The deal for 4 bottles of 15ml is about S$180 (which makes it S$45 each). Anybody want to buy any 15ml Hermessence so we can share?
