Finally found a frag that lasts a ridiculously long time on my skin...
After showering once still can smell...
Dior fahrenheit...
Problem is, everyone says it smells revolting, machiam 铁打酒...:(

If you kinda hesitate on using it then don't use it.You're letting the frag rule you,you rule the frag.If it's "your frag" then find a way,do one spray or two.

Fahrenheit smells like "petroleum forest/woods" but it is great.

I ordered samples for L`Air du Desert Marocain, Lonestar Memories, Incense Rose, and Reverie au Jardin quite a while ago... I liked L`Air du Desert Marocain the most though all seem to be more suited for night scents. My sister told me that Lonestar Memories made me smell like a Indian.:(

I'll definitely be going for LDDM.Wondering if the prices in SG are of any difference to LuckyScents since their shipping is very high.I know it can be pulled off in the day, there will be a way.
Just like I'm pulling off DHI and YSL Opium.

The frags I'll avoid are jasmine or orange blossoms dominated because they tend to be overwhelming.Sorry to say this but sometimes it's really silly to be "stereotyping" certain scents just because it's associated with certain nationalities.

So what are we supposed to smell like?Incense?Pee?Natural musk?:s11:

I had high hopes for Fahrenheit but alas it doesn't smell good to me. Still looking for a Dior frag for my collection.

I have a sample of Eau Sauvage. It's meh for me. Haven't tried Dune.

The stereotyping can't be helped. It's called scent memory. Certain scents reminds us of specific things. For example, Polo Ralph Lauren always reminds me of when I was a teen and only started using frags a little girl got into the lift and said "Yuck! So smelly". So every time i smell Polo or similar, this memory pops into my head. Jasmine makes me think of Serangoon Road near the temple at Belilios Road because there is a vendor there that sells Jasmine garlands that Indians use to decorate their altars (I eat Indian food often around there). Coconut oil makes me think of South Indian women in sarees because they apply it on their hair to make it lustrous and I get that note when they walk past.
Westerners don't have the same experiences as us so they like their 'exotic' frags like Oud wood and Incense. But when I smell something like YSL Kouros, I'm afraid that the first thing that pops up in my mind is "Indian". Like I said, can't be helped.

Gotta agree with you on scent memory. It can't be helped but it must not deter someone from wearing what they feel is right.Just because of one comment,it doesn't really matter till you get a lot more similar comments from many others.

But if the wearer, personally can't shake of that olfactory memory, then give it a miss.

YSL Kouros is the bomb that bombs the air within 10 meter radius.

Where did you buy egoiste from?
Can't seem to find it anywhere except at dfs...
And I gave it a miss...
Now kicking myself with regret...:(
