EdB almost similar to my signature scent just missing a note and much more smoother.

I did tried BO before I got the decant from you. That stuff is potent and a lil quirky on my skin..at some point it came off kinda "mature woman-ish" LOL!

And seriously after sniffing Five O'clock by Serge Lutens..it's a totally forgettable fragrance.

Funny thing about SL 5 oclock, the first time I used it I thought it was the bees knees and full bottle worthy. The next time I used it, I felt it was kinda meh.

That's why 2nd impression is the most valuable one.I thought the same, the opening was real nice with the smoky tea then I get the ginger and cinnamon but it went downhill from there.

On 2nd wearing..not getting any love at all.

It's a "meh" fragrance IMO,nothing complex as what people are saying. The projection is poor on my skin, longevity is average.

Chergui.Chergui.I told you I might get it to do a split but when I took a look at the notes again..tobacco & honey..hmm I really don't need another frag with those dominant notes so Chergui is a pass for me for now.

5 Oclock is more of a safe Lutens scent which stays close to the skin. I do get more than 8hrs longevity from this though.
Overall I still prefer Tea for Two compared to it =:p

I dont like the coconut note in UBV.. cant stand it. Its quite strong and rather cloying if overapplied. (Mine is the old version, not sure about the new one)
If you really like gourmands its still worth a try.

I do enjoy gourmands from time to time.Like you mentioned in the next post...SL been reformed so I don't think I'll try the line out for now.

Got my sights set on a few others like Tauer LDDM.

In my opinion L'Artisan perfumes have the best bottle caps of all perfumes. Feels very solid and heavy and not anything plastic/magnetic like Chanels/Diors/Hermes/YSLs
