Was refering to the iris not the leather.

Haha.. Thanx man..

I tried Cuir de Russie and thou not as dirty n animalic as Leather Oud, still find it quite hard to wear. Diam Blond is under my shortlist..

Anymore suggestions for softer leather based scent??

You tried Midnight In Paris yet?

Yup, i have 2 bottles ( 01 still BNIB) and trying to offload one in the sale thread.. Dun mind a swap as well..
The leather is on the top note and only last around a our if not 2.. But still it's pretty nice IMO..

Decided to hold off Lancome Hypnose till I can get a sample.Really hesitant to get it due to the lavender note in the mid.
Some say they don't get much lavender, others say lavender is prominent.

Heck, after my bad experience with Ferragamo's F Black.I'm pretty much scarred.

Any recommendations for frag that has a nice musculine scent?
Am clueless when it comes to men frag.

If you're new,the very first thing you should do is drop by SASA or Sephora and try the stuffs.I don't really give recommendations to a newbie since we all have different skin chemistry and personal preferences.

But for masculine scents, based on what I've tried..Dior Fahrenheit and the Zegna Intenso. If you want to be safe and have an all purpose scent, try YSL's L'homme, the longevity is spotty so you gotta try it on your skin.

May I know what is it about F Black that you dislike?

Been using it a couple of weeks, so far its the only thing that lasts more than an hour on my skin...:D

Synthetic lavender that comes off very strong on my skin.Dry down is pleasant but nothing special.

Have a bottle of Lancome Hypnose, pretty dark and sweet in my opinion. Only used it once since it serves the same purpose as YSL La Nuit and DHI (for me at least). If you're ever in the Novena area you can swing by for a spritz!
