Not sure whether this hair products deserve a thread on it's own, but in any case the mod decide it belongs to the Hair Thread, kindly merge the thread.

Been using my 2nd tub of pomade, and decide to switch to Insubmersible for a try. Though it's water based, it's considered an unorthodox water based pomade, where it doesn't wash off with water.

The fragrance started to grow on me, smelling a bit of herbalish and mint scent. The good thing about this creamy pomade is that it can be restyled easily, without losing too much of it's hold. Was previously using Suavecito, though the initial hold was much better than Insubmerisble, but being gel based, restyling it with water tends to cause it to lose it's hold overtime, especially for a rider like me.

Was given a try on another pomade by my barberess Black Ship. was told that it was a heavy loading pomade, and it doesn't hold the curry pok well.

anyone has any water based pomade to recommend that can give a good hold?

Lol @ 2nd floor.
Anyway so far I've tried Suavecito and Imperial. Like Imperial more. It's really hard. Super long last and easy to style.
Bought Coolgrease XXX but yet to open.

Hi where can I get the mentioned Insubmersible or imperial at?

as for restyling of hair after using pomade, do we use free hand to do it ?

for styling before using pomade, needs to blow dry ?

thanks in advance

bought from limpeh

yah the barbershop is called limpeh, and limpeh is a barberess. search the FB.

i find water gel based pomade easier to style with slightly wet hair, whereas water cream based pomade is easier to style with dry hair. just my experience.

i just style with my finger and a comb. the finger to run through the hair to create volume and comb to give it a neat look.

just dunno how others can keep their pomp so high up all the time.. oil based pomade? or longer hair?

How the hell can you stand pomade oil in your sweaty scalp in 30 degrees weather for an entire day?

No "haha I don't sweat" nonsense. Lies.

Gel pomade.

Usually just style with hand. Dried hair. No need to blow most of the time. As it holds really well. And it gets harden almost quite instantly.

Suavecito will not get harden though. And it may not able to last whole day. Good thing is you can style anytime you want. When it's 7 to 8pm, usually quite oily and loses hold lian.
Both are quite easy to wash off. Normal shampoo will do. Even rinsing with warm water can clean off almost everything.

Currently using imperial classic. The shine is just right and not too dry, hold is great too.

All can't hold well, and my fringe keep falling ....can't last through even till half the day...

whats the easiest pomade to wash off so far?

I tried a water-based pomade and damn i have to rinse my hair twice to get it all off. Pretty bad considering i have the thin strand/dry hair combo.
