I rooted my Note5, when trying to check the update, it's prompt "The operating system on your device has been modified in an unauthorised way. Try downloading software updates using Smart Switch on your Pc or visit a customer service centre"....

Anyone can advise me on this?

just download an official ROM, flash to your phone via odin, and then it will become "official" state, and you can get the OTA update and install.
after update installed you can root your phone again.

or you can wait for 3rd party ROM that based on MM, you can install 3rd party MM ROMs on your phone also.

The thing with 3rd party ROM is, there's always something wrong with it lol. It's only good if the phone is kinda screw up in the first place or it's no longer getting official firmware :s13:

doubt this is going to work. Little_orc can try first and let us know.

Reason why it is not going to work is related to knox. thats part of the reason why custom roms for note 5 are very limited

I'm thinking the counter for KNOX is a permanent thing, might work but the warranty still void right?

read is permanent & void warranty but shld be no problem to odin flash our region official stock rom ba. After that rom status will change back from 'Custom' to 'Official' then boleh get OTA again. I haven't trip knox before, so just read & hearsay only:)

If 3rd party rom has been more reliable, i would have flash from day 1 or after 1 year lol. I wanna flash my Galaxy S2 to MM but losing that FM Radio is a big thing and i dun wanna pay like over 10 SGD for the radio app when it's free on the official rom so i still holding off.
