Ohh! It happened that my friend has a Malaysian friend that signed up the phone with Malaysian telco and the guy wanted to sell it..

So, I bought over his Malaysian set.

I think can just hop over JB to buy it. At least, has warranty services just across the causeway.. Not too bad, IMHO. :)

Rather then local s
Export sellers here without any sorts of warranty or limited warraty period only..

yeah i just need to know where in JB and the info is not easy to find for JB.. or maybe im searching wrongly. dont wanna go there and realise not selling. plus JB is huge!

That city Square which connects all the way from JB ICA building has one official Samsung store at official RRP and many street mobile shops at cheaper street price than RRP.

Can go check them out. :)

Odin flashing gurus.

I have a question which I need to confirm after Google search them.

My friend has a dual sim export set N920C which carries a CSC code of ECT.

He wants to change the CSC and firmware to XME (Malaysian firmware).

So, he must first change the CSC Code to XME then flash a XME rom via Odin? As simple as that without the need to root?

Can be done right.. since his Note 5 is a dual sim which is considered as multi CSC which is equals to XME multi CSC?

I don't think need to use odin yet.

just enter the CSC configuration menu first, then choose XSP if there is.

it should be there..

KOMTAR MALL. Right beside city square. The one with a huge Red Angry Bird one outside Starbucks. Once u go in walk abit can see the Samsung store liao.
