Ok that info would have been helpful earlier lol. But i suggest if online or calls taking u too much time, try going down to the shop to confirm so they can see and check right on the spot for u.

Just checked the singtel app and found out callerid wasn't subscribed. Thanks for your help! But i still unsure why sometimes the number can be seen even through theres no caller id

Maybe it's meant to be subscribed but somehow something buggy is going on over at their side. Hmm so now u have to pay extra $5 for it eh?

I'm never one to trust a used handset from "someone". Maybe cos i have a trust issue haha cos sometimes there could be problem that you don't detect right away.

Remember to ask him for a receipt.

Must have receipt and warranty card. If possible, meet at someplace with Samsung experience store and check with the staff there to see if it is local.

Do a *#272*<Your Phone IMEI>#

A CSC screen will appear and if you see CSC of SIN, STH, MM1 and XSP, it is a SG set.

If you see some other codes, it might not be a SG set.

I mostly use it with social networking and surfing. Location and sync are both on all the time. Note this is on wifi though.

When I re-contracted, I was informed that Caller ID is now not included in the 24-month contract, since August 2015, and if I want to retain the Caller ID, I have to pay $5.35/month.

No choice but to LLST and pay the $5.35/month...:(:(:(

If you're on a corporate plan (assuming your company got a special deal), you don't have to. :s13:

Dunno why corporate plan so special, always got special plan and cheaper somemore. If you are in a corporate u should be paying more than the average guy working in Mcdonald's lol Since you definitely need a phone for your job.
