not always newest system better than old ones. my note2 feels best with 4.1.2.

you must have something which keeps the cpu awake. usually the apps which constantly refresh are the culprit. look through the processes and kill suspicious activities lor..

the Android OS 2h+ is ok. there must be some process running busy in background, such as media server etc.

if its the phone itself siao siao or battery problem, i will go smack samsung and ask to change.

After u factory reset, dun install anything back first then leave it around for standby a while see what happen. But keep your wifi on then try turn on 4G also. If all ok then install apps back.

64gb gold user here too.. been having a few random sleeping beauty problem but so far enjoying the phone... my first note actually.

I have installed package disabler pro and killed alot of processes too, don't need root. Also changed my csc to xsp the moment i boot up then upgraded.

what you mean? Launcher swipe left has the silly Flipboard thing. you have to remove it .

THen after that I think can swipe unlimited? I can't remember.
I don't use the stock launcher. I installed Apex. confirm can scroll until you song.

Just completed factory reset. going to let it sit for 1 hour after charging to 100%. See how much I lose in 1 hour without installing anything else other than built in stuff. Didn't even disable s-voice. LOL~

I did a factory reset. Yes I loaded up my apps the moment I reset. Cleared cache from recovery and all that jazz but now my phone resets itself from time to time as it pleases and hangs in the app apart from not being able to wake up properly aka sleeping beauty (press buttons but phone does not respond). Good job Samsung, the phone degradation is definitely felt
