Same here. Sibei sian first time delay phone buying till contract free. Even thought of punting iphone 6s+ but confirm 3mths sian of the phone... dilemma... first world problem... haha

Why not wait for the Nexus phone then review here nice or not lol.

Exactly.. note 5 is not that buggy. It's the people blowing out the matter only. If it happens once of twice a week, is it that inconvenient? Hahas..

Probably this is due to incompatible apps.. mytransport singapore app is incompatible with note 5, one good example.

Not totally agreed. The sleeping issue happen everyday not every week. If your note5 have no problem then congratulations to you but pls look at the percentage people have this issue... its not normal. I dont think its due to incompatible apps.

I did follow the debloating thread posted in xda forum using package disabler pro. And it doesn't require root at all. But that's just my own observations on one device. You guys may want to give it a try.

If it's one, two times a week, I would be very happy.......mine is 4 to 5 times a day even after clearing cache in recovery mode fore more than 5 times. Btw my note 5 64gb silver titanium is less than 2 days old. I have just reflashed the firm ware in down loading mode......will see how it goes now. I am using finger print for screen lock.

Ok. Now silver color also got the problem.... thought is early batch got problem only. But i already did reflashed full rom in downloading mode, no use... issue still come bck. Really hope its just the software issue not hardware...

So far, I am experiencing only the sleeping beauty issue for Note 5.
At least for me, it happens at least once a day.

No other issues encountered.

For me, I can deal with it.... just have to wait for a few more seconds longer to unlock the phone.

It seems that people are mainly complaining about sleeping beauty and 3rd party incompatibility issues, with very few other types of complain also being seen here.

So, the problem for Note 5 is very specific and limited, not a whole lot of wide spectrum of problems.

This is considered good, right? I rather have a few very specific problem which can be solved eventually, then a mountain of issues from all over the place.

Depends on if you can live with the bug. Like the sleeping beauty issue for mine is not an issue since i don't kenna often and the most i wait 2 secs to unlock, like 2 - 3 days once have to wait 2 secs, i'm ok

Just recontract and got Note 5. Been using it for half day, no issue until now. I have not updated the OS though... Finger crossed. Btw mine is 64b gold on M1

I am fine with a 2 sec lag....mine is like 10 sec or above hang and when screen is finally unlocked, touch wiz will be reloading and lagging for a good 10 sec again......sigh.....
