For school shoes, you'll never go wrong with the all time classic converse-hi (for me tho).
Pure Whites.....

The Classics...

If you want to get the low cut type, i reckon a pair of Jack Purcell should do.

But if you are aiming for those track shoes type, I saw a pair by i.p Zone at Bugis Junction.
It looks 90% like a Nike Air Max 90, only thing is without the swoosh. Cost S$39.90 if i remember correctly.

It should make a good school shoe.

The best place for you to check out those Nike Dunk mid/high, would be Queensway Shopping Centre. There are so many shops there selling Dunks.
Price range from S$129 - S$169. Discount not yet counted.
Dunks remind me on my early stage of sneaker craze....
I am eyeing on this pair....Nike Dunk High Nylon Premium | Black / Neon Pink

Kind of sissy..."i know" but i find the colour comby zapping my attention!!!
