hi, might be a stupid question but you sneakerheads got any secret method to tie shoelaces to keep it that neat and comfortable like the 1 i quoted.

edit: digging the looks of the pants with those sneakers.

anyway your sneaker education is rubbing off me. though i have too many pairs of shoes for a guy who doesnt spend much on clothings. digging the design of the asics gel lyte. but feeling a lil guilty to buy another pair since i have like 2 pairs of lightly worn 574.

What i normally do is do my shoelaces over and under instead of the under and over method. Sometimes i go for the clean look with no shoe lace tying, sometimes i do it like a normal shoe lace tying. You can wait for Asics to come into SG next year. You only have 2 574s? You have to try some made in usa/uk new balances 1st. You are missing out on alot. I assure u de extra $100 price tag is worth the premium u are paying for.

Anyway, thanks for the praise for the kicks + pants combo. A combo i like it so much that i have been unwilling to wear jeans and pinroll them anymore. hehe.

It is tied inside beneath the tongue....u just need to know how.
Not all sneakerheads wana do that,some like their lace outside.

used to wear superstars and chuck taylor during secondary school, than got a pair of high cut adidas sneakers with very a very fat tongue in japan, from that fall in love with high cut shoes. been on 2 pairs of timberlands classic. 1 6 inch and 1 8 inch. these 2 pairs of boots are in rotation with my 3 pairs of birks(1 high cut sandals athens) and 2 pair of 574. i spend peanuts on clothings so i would consider this splurging on my end. though not as hardcore as you guys since im still a student. but that combi that you showed is just so clean..... i looked at custom make 574 from us website. couldnt do a nice colorway(am i using it right?).

what do you mean by asics coming next year? im looking at what odin2ken have posted. the non limited ed version though...

that's a asics 3 lies la. Not the salmon toes. Notice the tiger stripes of the 3 Lies?? Same colour tone as the upper. Salmon toes are a contrasting white tiger stripes.

Sad to say, not many singaporean "sneakerheads" are into retro runners.. Majority still going for the Air Jordans, Nike Airmax, SBs and so on which are common and easily available. What our booth displayed are actually very limited in worldwide and in Singapore, majority of the kicks are not able to be purchased in Singapore. We went thru quite alot of trouble to bring them back to Singapore for our collection.

Means you nv went for the sneaker convention. Asics set up a booth thr showing some of their lifestyle runners to the public and mentioned moving into Singapore market and sneaker community. What Asics has in Singapore are actually just selling performance shoes and dun have a account/ distributor to sell their runners aka lifestyle kicks.

What do you mean by non-limited edition kicks? what are on displayed are all limited edition worldwide, not just Singapore.

You have to give some slack to ur jeans, cannot tuck into ur boots tightly. Jeans have to be longer. so when u walk, got slack to move about. If not use gutters from army.
