Any kind souls know where I can find New Balance M574 in black/white or any other models in this colorway? I've been to Peninsula, Leftfoot Cine, Bugis Junction and *SCAPE's NB outlet. Thanks.

hi guys, are those new balance sneakers suitable for running/jogging as well? or just suitable for casual wear? thanks in advanced!

Of course can jog, these NB classics were made many years ago for that purpose. But nowadays haven't seen anybody body using the classics for running. Just casual wear.

It's like Jordan 1 is a basketball shoe, you see anyone still wearing that to play basketball? Or Adidas Stan Smith is actually a tennis shoe, you see anyone of current time still wearing this for in tennis court?

All these GS (general release) comes in wave or season, after that they will be removed to make way for newer designs or colorways. You can try feeder sports, i always see they hold onto their older stocks, reason why the place is so cramp and narrow. Or can try NB outlet store at IMM Jurong which sells off-season stocks on sale.

It used be a running shoes. Thus the name runners as we now called them. But due to advancing technology, the technology for running shoes are so much better in terms of cushioning, outsole and materials used.

Now running shoes are lightweight, durable outsole and light and breathable materials for running comfort..

A little info : The Made in USA 1300 is the olden days cushioning shoes which in NB term is meant for high arch to neutral arch runners. Where the UK made 577 is a stability shoes meaning for neutral to low arch feets.


Same for jordans and stan smith. Because of technology, ppl invest in better shoes for durability and performance based.

Thanks man but sadly Feder sports does not carry that colorway anymore. I will try looking elsewhere.

There won't be restock. Restocking chance is just 10%. Best bet is reseller or ebay liao.

Nike Dunks, Converse Chucks and Purcells are also bball shoes, Adidas Superstar were skate shoes as well as VANS shoes. Onitsuka Tigers were also running shoes. Red Wings are hard timber men shoes iirc.
