Hello boys and girls, let's stop debating cos both of u guys are on the different page. Don't call yourself sneakerheads, cos it's like 1 out of 100 ppl who buy sneakers is a sneakerhead.

In the sneakerworld, there are retro runners and retro trainers... Ken and me are into runners, not into trainers.. Gaoxing is a trainers person. New balance and Asics are hype not because of whoever those Korean artist or whoever are wearing, cos they wear what the "NB Classic" which is the damn 574! Which is de popular model, why?! Cos it's a value for money. It has Encap technology which is NB best and known cushioning technology into a $105- $140 max shoes. Why the low price, cos of the de material used and location it is made. Which is of de average materials vs price point.

New balance is a USA brand but a UK founder. They came as a insole company which provide the best comfort for the feets and balance and stability for runing. USA and UK models are made of top notch materials which u will NEVER find on an asian made new balance GR. New balance is the only footwear company that still has their factory in USA and UK, which make them super reputable.


Asics are the king of running shoes. Thus their cushioning is top notch and with good materials used. For anybody's info, the Gel Lyte V which is de latest runner in the market which de 1st release of that model was 1991. Thus it is bringing back the retros. Asics runners are all in the $200 price point cos of material used and the % of finding a replica is about 10%.

Nike and adidas were hype because of branding.. How often do you see NB and Asics promote or do marketing... Nike and Adidas are giants of the shoe world. In a general shoe market, nike and adidas are the top.. Jordan is a sub brand because of MJ, who have their own shoes. He has 28 pairs of collection.. Jordan shoes buyer are coming from huge basketball background and heritage.. I mean people from USA, Philippines.

Adidas are known for their superstars which were basketball shoes in the start and it has become a lot of ppl's staple footwear because of it plain yet comfort shoes. Until Jeremy Scott appear....

Nike and adidas has many factories in SEA which causes alot of replicas and bad QC on the shoes.

Many shoes designer and shoe retails shop are biting on the popularity of NB and asics to get their name on shoes. Thus it has become a hype now which those sleek silhouette and comfort, cos they are running shoes.

NIke and adidas focus alot of basketball and skaters shoes which are big heritage in the states. Thus it has become a hype for them and alot of resellers are using the hype to make money..

Anyway, both are right in anyway, but to each own. Some buy shoes to collect, some buy them to rock.. It's just like ladies buying handbag, where some ppl do reselling on bags.

Same idea just different material.

Too much beefing in the sneaker world now. cos of different opinion.

i know asics are really good runners.
my gf used to be in track and competes on a national level.
she says asics are the best runners.

Chill man.. I was into sneakers i was 13.. But i dun have the capital to play last time.. I start to collect sneakers seriously only the past few months. And my sneakers are all nb and asics now. I only hav 2 pairs of Nike and 1 adidas.

I have seen all 3 before.. De nb is hype cos of staple pigeon. Not the model of that nb. 575 is not a hype model.

De 2nd nike is a collab with diamond supply. de 1st one i seen before. but i dunno de collab name.

I wear nike to school cos my dad buys them for me.. And my whole family supports my passion and they also rock nb lifestyle shoes occasionally one..

isn't all sneakers hype because collabs? not just the model? the model don't matter as long design is good?
there's not such thing as hype model. lol.
it's the design and history behind it.

anyway, the pair you don't know is supreme x nike sb. you should know if you are into SB last time. don't know this is a crime! haha
1. Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low "Black Cement" — The 100 Best Nike SBs of All Time | Complex

2nd pair is Tiffany SB. One of the most sought after SB. I think way crazier than what you have up there. nothing there can compare to this. ask any regular sneakers lover will know the truth.
anyway, quantities of these are not crazy low. lol prices are crazy. even for now after so long.
Nike Dunk Low Pro SB

3rd pair is Jeff Staple x NB "Pigeon"
Coming from the crazy Pigeon Nike SB that nearly cause a riot in NYC.
This pair started one of the best NB collaboration.
probably the only NB that i bought.
