Anyway how does Pentax lenses compare to the rest. See a lot of offer for them going on, thinking of helping mother make one

Try Mr eyewear at West Mall Bukit Batok? They are pretty good with refraction and dispensing..

Any shops you would recommend in the East for progressive lens for Safety Glass frames, 3M ZT200? As in I have the frames already, just need lens for it now. Thanks.

Thanks for input. I have been quoted BBGR Anateo HD Progressive lens only for around SGD400 for my own 3M safety frame.

I have mild short sight and astig, can don't wear glasses type. But mainly it is for reading and seeing near things that I have problem now.

Is SGD400 a fair price for the BBGR Anateo HD lens? What would be equivalent models for other brands?

Day to day specs I have this Anateo HD on Maya. This is my 3rd progressive in 24 months. Had headache in 2 previous cheaper lens.

The 1st was horrid, probably no brand.

2nd was BBGR Eveolis, not sure if its the model that gave headache or the made too curve (exactly the Project Rudy Maya frame curvature). The Anateo HD, is not as curve, and I feel comfortable now.

Any idea what's the brand of the lenses you are quoted for? Are there any added in factors e.g. Multicoating, mirror coat, polarised coat, sports curve, etc...?

Hi guys, so i am in need of new lens and would like to hear your opinion about it.

My degree is around 400-450. With one eye with astigmatism (quite low 100?). I am currently wearing a Hoya Blue Control lens and am looking to replace it.

Does anyone has any recommendations ? thinking of exploring other brands or going back to the same. Thinking of Zeiss?

I deff need Blue control and hopefully UV protection, and the usual coating.

Zeiss has revised their prices recently, can consider changing over however as mentioned in earlier posts.. sometimes better to still use back the lenses you are more comfortable with. An upgrade might not necessarily be better all the time but still it's subjective!
