If you are fine with the yellowish hue, you can go with prevencia(essilor), Bluecontrol(hoya), BlueProtect(zeiss)

Otherwise, Shamir Blue Zero has the same function but w/o the yellowish hue.

any rough estimates on these prices? These are not pre-framed glasses right? meaning i'll have to choose a frame and tell the optician i only want the PC coating w no degree?

I tried my colleague pc glasses. I tot it’s ok to my eye that is why I tot can add in. Just not too sure about the yellow hue. I didn’t really notice it.

It be good for driving, less glare. If your colleague using same brand then it's fine. Different brand the hue varies from one another. But not too significant.

Nope! Actually these are considered normal. There are more premium ones e.g. Nikon seemax blue and more.. these are considered the more average!

IMO, Zeiss>hoya>essilor for single vision.

But for progressives, essilor has a new brand of lenses called the X-Design. Those are really affordable and has a Very wide reading area. About $7++ starting price but think of it as a 2-3years investment. Very worth it for such a pair. Whereas the other 2 are pretty much the same.

Hi! In terms of percentage of blue light blocked, which is the highest & lowest? For me the most important factor is the amount of glare reduced from screen monitor. Going to change my lens tomorrow

Yes! Not really pc glasses but if Long hours of usage causes eye strain even with pc glasses, I am suspecting early presbyopia setting in

For People who's myopic, when presbyopia set in, usually they just have to remove their glasses and they can see. Only when their reading power increase further then they go for progressives or reading glasses.

If you are just purely myopic and (not at the presbyopic stage), you wont need progressives, but maybe antifatigue lenses e.g.Crizal eyezen essilor, Zeiss digital lens/energize me, hoya dynamic trueform or shamir relax.

well, most lenses being sold right now blocks out probably 15-20% of blue light. If you need more, there's other brands that can block up to 30-50% but those lenses are realllly yellow once you look through it.

Maybe you can google this brand DIOBLUE.

What kind of frames are you looking for? There's still a wide range of frame available. Design wise also.. metal or plastic ? Any preference?
