Hey there, yes it is important to choose a frame that is comfortable as you are wearing it for the whole day.

Thus going for frames that is known for their brand rather than comfort.... no go.
I would honestly just recommend you to wear Lindberg if Budget is not a concern. They are really comfortable and probably look at the N.O.W series.

But if Budget is an issue, just make sure it is comfortable, not pressing towards your temple(squeezing at the side of your head). As if it is uncomfortable for the first few minutes, imagine wearing it for hours...

Hey everyone, I'll like to ask your advice for good titanium spectacles brand(s).

Recently I've been wearing my current pair of specs longer/more often, and its been hurting a little after longer hours. I'm looking to get a pair of light weight specs, and have decided on titanium against plastic for the more professional look when I need to use it at work.

I did pop by to the specs shops near my place, and there was literally so many options given to me that it was overwhelming. I do not have a budget for this, so long as its worth the money. That is, 'Brand A' is expensive, but is indeed of better quality and feels more comfortable than others - I'm ok to purchase. If 'Brand B' is expensive just because of the branding but quality etc. wise same as cheaper alternatives, I rather get the alternatives.

Any advice please?

Many thanks! Just so happened that i went to a paris miki near my house, and the optician recommended Lindberg and Gotti. He said that although Lindberg is pretty much the lightest out of all available brands, it might not the best quality. He hinted that the frames might bend or go out of shape over time.

I do like that Lindberg's frames were so light, but is the quality something I have to be concerned about? Is the N.O.W series better/lighter than the others?

Honestly no, It only goes out of shape due to personal handling of the frame. E.g. taking out with one hand, lying on it etc.. if your face is broad, choose a broader frame rather than smth small which will cause the arms/temple to widen over time.
Can safely say Lindberg is really one of the best. Gotti from Switzerland is not too bad, light,thin and comfortable Titanium frame. It’s more “sturdy”/not as flexible as Lindberg. Depending on how you would like to wear your glasses. Some individuals want something that does not feel like they are wearing anything=Lindberg.
Whereas the latter, gotti you will feel the frame on your face(sense of security), though Lindberg different series will give you the same satisfaction.

I personally have a buffalo horn, N.O.W, Rim titanium, and I feel the N.O.W is the most comfortable out of all. I do lie with my glasses and it’s relative safe so far. Buffalo horn is the most aesthetically pleasing. But this is just from my point of view.

Yes man.. Not all models from the same brand is comfortable even for oakley.. But once I found the good one I will purchase 2 to 3 pairs diff color of the same model

Ok thanks once again, your advice has been very helpful. I will check out Jamco as recommended. And yes, when I was trying both Lindberg/Gotti, there were some Lindberg frames which were really light, almost as if there wasn't a pair of glasses. That would be my preferred option, with quality being my only concern after the comments given. Glad to hear you confirm otherwise.

This is an option, but servicing is going to be a problem. Each Lindberg frame as a direct ID to show which shop you purchase from. So if it’s purchase online to get the model you prefer.... I just feel abit risky.(though you can always yolo on that).

If you want to change nosepad or temple tips, each pair is like 10-20 dollars depending where you go. If you send the frame to a place that can’t handle it and damage in the process, is no warranty from the shop.. so safer to purchase it from a shop instead.

Only happens if your face gets broader(if you know what I mean hahaha), using one hand to remove glasses, putting weight on the glasses...

And as mentioned earlier the quality is really solid, I have a customer using for 12 years for his Lindberg spirit(rimless), we only change the lenses for him that’s all.

You can customise the colour of the legs and bridge too, so if you like a certain frame design but not the colour, you can let the practitioner know of your preference and he/she can try to tailor it to your liking.

Haha, I think this is very very general. Quite a number of Brands should have Frames to cater to small faces too.
Angular/round/Squarish/panto/obtuse frame shape really have to try out to know if it suits you..
depending on our face shape too, small face but round? Or small face and Squarish etc...
Main thing still is to try it out and make sure it fits well

It's same concept if u are a pro photographer with expensive lenses.. Same blower use for camera.. Like this no contact with specs lenses no scratches

They are pretty durable but the frames it self kinda out of the Budget. Usually about 450 onwards for Porsche.
Oakley and rayban should not be an issue. Though a lot of rayban fit is more for caucasion(there are some for asian but IMO don’t look that good, very schoolboy feel).

Oakley maybe the limit switch or lizard Series looks more professional and fit your frame Budget.

Can’t comment much on BB they are established and also not too bad, but another alternative for it is this brand called charmant.

Charmant cheap and good.. I made one pair for mine wife.. I think less then $150..use for 10 years plus frame still like new.. Recently change the lenses due to power change.
