Im wearing the lindberg titanium horn frame

Beware! Once you wear this you’ll never want to wear other brands

Been wearing mine for about 3yrs. Its the best frame I ever had and that day went to optical shop with wife. While she doing eye testing I just try some of the frames there. Really nothing fits or as comfy as lindberg. The salesperson also say, once u wear lindberg you wont want other brands

Take a look at their unica buffalo horn too. Aesthetics looks great too.

I kind of agreed for Lindberg for its quality and aesthetic; it is very comfortable and light. Recently I saw a white horn series(?? Unica??) at Jamco, it is beautiful as well as the price tag. Haa. That said, personally I have 3 pairs of Lindberg to rotate. . Friends and colleagues give very good review for the horn series. By the way, I am not related to Jamco, they told me their new stocks of Lindberg are arriving in July. Thanks.

Hey folks, any recommendations for shops in the central area near Boon Keng?

I started with my 1st pair of progressives last August. Being my first time, I thought I just try one from Owndays first but I didn't like it as it gives me headaches when after reading notes and computer screens for extended period of time. End up using my reading glasses at work instead.

Budget will up to $1k. Thanks!

Yes. The white horn is the rarest horn colour variation. Very beautiful.

Take note whichever horn you see, cannot be bought again as the colour/marbling is natural thus cnt be replicated or reordered.

Hmm... mee mee optics at Bukit Timah plaza, Paris Miki @ Takashimaya.. not sure if Kwong shin has a wide selection of horns but give them a call to enquire would be best!
(edit:Kwong shin don’t have Lindberg)

Though Jamco has the widest collection if I am not wrong.( I am not working/related to them too).

Khong Shin? My regular shop but sad to hear that they do not carry Lindberg and that was why I landed in Jamco.

Hi. What frames would you recommend for high power -900? Titanium or plastic type? Its difficult to find frames that can hide the thick lens. After my last pair of tag heuer broke, I patronise Owndays now but I just feel their lens and frames are not that good (change 4pairs within 1yr+.)
And for lens, I just do not see much difference between the 1.74 and 1.67 lens. Is it really worth to pay so much more for 1.74? Whats are prices like for essilor or hoya lens now?

Small plastic frames would be best. There are certain titanium frame that is combined with plastic thus the frame front(plastic) can hide your thickness from the lens).
Or you can even look into 3D printed frame whereby it’s customised according to your face shape/size. Can even adjust the thickness of the frame to hide your lens thickness.
There is a difference in the size of the lenses however if you choose the wide length lenses(angular)(big frame) then the thickness will still be thick.
You are looking at a price range of Hoya 390 and essilor 420 for 1.74.
