310 comes with bluecap, 80 is prevencia which makes it yellowish. Then likely is add transition to make it near 500.
Bluecap is not prevencia? Think my current 2 years old lens is crizal eyezen with blue light filter, not completely sure. Can't rmb all these terms and what is what...
Anyways thanks. Will check ard again...

Nope. They are not the same. Bluecap is a blue light filter too. But when you look through it, it’s less yellow. Prevencia is an add on to make it more yellow which cost 80 dollars more.
Wait... single vision or eye zen? Your practitioner recommend you?

I did both before. Yup he recommended , say it makes reading easier but I can't get used to eyezen since I'm only in my mid 30s and dun have lao hua then changed to current single visio. Even went thru the demo set in the shop which at that point is good but eventually not for me

Hi,

You can look for Essilor transition 1.67 or 1.60 index lenses. You can also consider heading to eyewear optics Thomson to make your glasses there.

Morning,

Depending on how sensitive your eyes are, the only side effect you might get at worst is headache, or the very least some mild giddiness/floating effect for the first 15-20 mins.
Though I rmb your prescription was quite Low. Have you settled your x design lenses?

For x design lenses, had went back do some adjustments of frame and ask to try for few days. For day time use no issue, only problem is night time, issue still not solve. Maybe going back again to them this week.

If need to remake the lense,
1) i don't know whether to take out the Prevencia or not.
2) Change back the same astig axis as others pairs ?
3) Also whether need to change back to normal corridor from the short corridor, as u had said it will cut out some of the intermediate window.

Hi is it normal to have bad eyesight in 1 eye only?

I have very slight degree on my left eye, wore safety glasses with prescription on the left lens, right side no degree for abt 2 yrs only during work.

Recently when not wearing after work on and off will start feeling tension in left eye and also forehead will feel tight like headache. Very uncomfortable.

Went for eye check, optician just told me left eyesight worsen abit and got astig of 0.75. Right eye no changes.

May i know for such minor degree, will it cause headache or slight giddiness?

Thank you

1)If night is still uncomfortable, you can consider removing prevencia so the brightness is more obvious.
2)changing of astig axis might be better as your other pairs no issue even if its just -0.25
3)I personally feel short is good. I usually change a short corridor to regular if the patient complaints that they feel dizzy when they walk. There are other factors that could influence my decision but this is just one of them

Hm, I understand how you feel. If i dont wear glasses and walk around i will have that forehead tightness and slight headache.

For such prescription, it does affect us still. Of course more for individuals who are slightly more sensitive. Thus you could fall into that spectrum. But by any chance are you above 40 too?

Probably the modular nosepad(MNP) series. Though even their biggest size 4, some Asian also can’t wear..

How long is the warranty for Shamir lens? My Shamir intelligence coating seem to wear off already.

I goggle about the warranty period and find out that Shamir had came out with anti-fog coating recently. Can I bring other brand's len and pay to get the coating done?

No you can’t unfortunately. We can’t recoat lenses. Most Brand’s right now also got anti fog but it doesn’t work as well.

Usually the anti fog spray would work much better.
