Any lens promotion currently for Essilor, Zeiss, Hoya? Going to make 2 pairs.
Well I would say base on personal experience that Moscot is not worth the hype. Their frames are manufacture in China (*hint AliExpress cheap cheap). Although I do love their design, the quality is not up to the mark. So don't just jump into the band wagon and found yourself a heart spike. Manufacturer quality should be bigger than the brand itself.
for old flower, will it costs a lot ah.. I haven't check my eye the degree yet but should be minimal baThink there's a 1 for 1 going on for Essilor.
But I'ld still recommend Zeiss/Tokai/Asahi Lite (Better value for money & better quality)![]()
Any recommendations for round small frames glasses?

Totally agree. Consumers should look out for quality rather than just buying branded frames. But that would require a certain level of expertise.
For a quick crash course on choosing a spectacles, I've listed the common material
Metal Frame: Titanium > Aluminum > Stainless Steel
Plastic frame:
Ultem/ TR (USA/Korea material)
- more recent Material (~8 years)
- Very light weight
- Extremely durable (impact resistant)
- Doesn't go out of shape easily
- Best option if you have young kids around that likes to snatch your spectacles and throw it.
Acetate material
- Typical plastic, long history used as a spectacle material.
- hard & sturdy
- "Temples" (Leg of frame) tends to open up over time.
- has a tendency to shrink.
- deforms under pressure
which brand is good? he didn't mention those value for $ ones.
to me, I think important is the design ( that one wants ) and the quality. got such things?Cos value for money ones are not brandedYou pay just for the quality
Zeiss/Tokai/Asahi Lite still get these or?reading glass no need to get expensive ones la. Less than $100 can settle.

Hihi, I went to check my eyes..it's only 1.25 ..should I get off the shelf or go for prescriptive ah? Don't think I'd go for progressive, just use for reading and monitor/ laptop used. The optometrist say if use monitor just need to increase font abit.reading glass no need to get expensive ones la. Less than $100 can settle.
I read somewhere that real glass lens is clearer. Is it possible to find?
I need to get a new pair of frames + lenses. Currently looking at titanium options on Shopee for frame. Lenses not sure what to get, as I am currently using a 1.60 plastic basic lens.

Glass lenses are indeed clearer due to material. but using glass on titanium frame kinda defeat the purpose, no?
I suggest going for a lens with UV420 properties. Will enhance colour contrast abit more![]()
Sorry I guess I did not understand. Why is titanium frame with glass not a good combo?
