On line some glass frame is selling, it is possible to buy and let optical shop to fix up glass instead.. plan to get one for far sighted use..

hello guys, thought this thread would be the best place to ask the following question

do we really need spectacle hooks during NS? i bought a pair to fit on the specs and the hooks eventually gave way and split into half at the top. the end of the specs are thicker than the other parts of the specs.

Not really needed unless your spectacles is so loose that it will drop/slide during movement. In that case, you will definitely need hooks. My boyfriend's spectacles are the loose kind so he used hooks during his NS.

Is it worth it to get Zeiss individual single vision or Zeiss single vision superb? The individual SV is labelled as their best lens but I read some reviews saying that they might mess up your vision. Anyone have this pair of lens?

If it's not worth it, then I will get the SV superb instead.

Pearl Optics quoted me $500 for Crizal lens 1.67 index (anti-fatigue). Carrot dip dip man.
