Kwong shin has really gd service and they have a very wide range of specs to choose from. I went with my friend to help him choose his specs and was greeted with very gd service by this lady called Sandy. She even helped us to polish and adjust our old specs until they look like new again. Quite amazed by her skills. This is the first time we feel gd leaving a specs shop. Thumbs up for them=)

All spectacles are over-rated. They are so cheap to produce and the premiums on them and lenses are alot times more than other consumer, even designer products. It is just that the markups have been going on for such a long time that people come to accept it as norm.

u only live once, u want to bring ur $$ to the grave? lol

just enjoy indugling yourself...if u think those designer frames are overprice and not your style....there are always cheaper alternative for u....

Weight = 13.7g (w/o lens).
Thinnest part is only 0.6mm.

materials and spec sound good but you are going to look like a full-time douchebag wearing that.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but,

I'm thinking of switching over to contacts from spectacles. How much would daily/weekly or monthly contact lens cost for a month usage roughly?

Hahahahaha ... This pair is the [Dun] LC-10, Luxury Category award winner at this year's IOFT 2011.

[Dun] makes excellent (very affordable and well made) frames, but for this one, they went out of the way to make it.

SGD 4,900.00 I was quoted ..... :(

Frame only.

[Dun] is made by 三工光学 http://sankokogaku.co.jp/

After discount frame prices range around S$380/+-. Very well made.

Kwong Shin has a very good selection. Another optical shop at Farjar Mall (or something, Bukit Panjang) also carries them.
