Price of ByWP is about the same as IC Berlin. Just that both designs a bit different.

I was also wearing Tag half rim reflex.

i didnt receive any hoya certificate too. i bought from seng lee queensway

You should ask for it.
It is just the lens prescription + the type of lens (eg freeform or Nulux) & coating (eg SFT).

Hi

My swissflex frame is about 3 years old. Its like the transformer of all frames cause break one part replace one part.

I believe the shop in Centerpoint gave me hoya transitions.

Unfortunately I seem to have scratched it rather deeply cause one of those sequins on my t-shirt scratched it when I wiped the lenses I didn't have my lens cloth with me

Would Crizal Transitions be a little more scratch resistant?

As I live near Queenstown MRT, is there any recommended shop I can go change the lens at?

Hopefully at the same time they can help me test my eyes as my left eye is affected by keractoconus that was operated on on July 7th 2009.

Also, does the Swissflex plastic dis-colour over time due to mould, sweat etc?

Mine does not discolor I made a brown and green type

Swissflex frames are light. But tends to fall off a bit easily or be grabbed by babies rather easily.

Too active wise I think better not. Its too light unless u put those rubber things to hold at the back.

I have broken the nose piece and the left arm before but I just put the frame in the shop for 2-4 days and the part is fixed the other parts are original.

Just went down to Kwong Shin @ Bras Basah Complex.
Placed order on tag heuer frame.

Crizal lens they charged me $357 for 1.74 index. Since a lot of posts recommended kwong shin, i believe they dont chop people.

So is $357 reasonable? My myopia is about 700-800 each eye. zZz

just made my specs today, was given either Hoya 1.5 or Crizal Airwear as my budget was tight, both lenses were quoted $220 which is RRP according to file.

I have high astig at about 225/250 for both eyes, whereas my myopia is 200/225, did I make the right choice by choosing the crizal airwear over the Hoya 1.5? Due to my measurements of my eyes, I can't get Crizal's 1.6 as it wasn't within my range of measurement. Optician told me Hoya's 1.5 won't be too thick as well and that the quality's good. I'm on plastic rayban frames.

*I forgotten what coating that hoya 1.5 had on it.

After reading up abit here, seems like Hoya's quite good as well. Am thinking if I decide to change my mind, tomorrow i'll ring up the optical shop.

Any advices?

Yes. Nikon See series have transistions. in sg, only selected 120 stores are allowed to sell premium nikon see series lenses.
