just did a check on swissflex
- approx $300 for 1.67 AO
- approx $350 for hoya ( can't recall is 1.6 or 1.67)

which is worth ?

btw how much is 1.67 hoya lens ?
$350 for Hoya should be 1.67. Hoya 1.6 HVP is about $160, SFT about $200.

Many thanks to everyone who answered my queries and also for this thread. Had my 2 pairs of frame done with Hoya SFT and HVP coating lenses at Seng Li Queensway, service is good and they really explained clearly on the lenses difference (Which not many shops did frankly) and also an explanation on the eye test.

Slight dizzying initially especially at the sides but now it's much better.

Will probably change my remaining pair of specs with a new frame and lens at Seng Li soon.

for me not suitable... i have bad habits to rub my eyes most times.

:D

u shld try to avoid rubbing eyes often.
i did that many times before.
cos it can cause astigmatism due to cornea curvature.

my right eye was 325 degrees, astigmatism 500 degrees
left eye was 475 degrees, astigmatism 350 degrees.

but i had it corrected during surgery.
did an implant lens due to thin cornea and high astigmatism
now 6/6 :D

Not painful.
Doc create a hole in your eye for 1st op.
2nd op he insert the lens and the lens unfold itself over your eye.

Suitable for thin cornea and high astigmatism.
Gives better result than LASIK.
Best of all no need to cut cornea.
Recovery time fast

Currently I'm wear Tag Heuer frame with crizal lens.
Anyone got any good frame to recommend tat is as light as Tag Heuer.
I also looking at Hoya lens.

Anyone know about their suntech intense lens? Does it work like transitions? Can I use a Hoya SFT lens with it? All these lens is making me confuse.

IC Berlin or ByWp. I personally prefer the later because of their Asian fit nose pads.
