Urband, the natal of a new eyewear company

Created in 2006, Urband got into a partnership in February 2013 with his Singaporean distributor handling the Asia distribution.

URBAND is a coined word combining two words – “urban” and “band”- gathering of people who live there.
URBAND was established by Cyril Vigier and Frederic Ferrant. It’s spotlighted French brand by providing a breath of fresh air into “sheet metal glasses” with “vivid color”.
One of founder, Mr. Vigier studied commercial law while he worked at eyeglasses shop in Paris back in his college days. After graduation, he had built his career at eyeglasses manufacturing company in New York. During those days, he had experienced traveling to various countries as exporting manager. The other founder, Frederick is also an expert in the eyeglasses industry as he had been working as sales manager in Paris, NY and Los Angeles for 20 years.
What they have in common is they have experienced traveling all over the world from Europe or from US. “Meeting people, and cultural exchanges” they got through their experiences, must be the point of origin for “URBAND”.
In eyeglasses of URBAND, they use titanium for front and spring hinge without screw – patented technology, and that’s how they are realizing great comfort for wearing. Manufacturing, under strictly management, is done in Japan where the technology of titanium eyeglasses work is number one in the world. Besides, French taste vivid colors those match best in urban scene is one of great characteristic of the brand.

The spectacle shop i frequent carries default nikon lens. Just got a pair recently, the experience is awsome, everything suddenly look so sharp and bright. But i also want to try zeiss lens after reading the good reviews.

my nikon lens see series 1.74+anna sui frame cost $680 (460+220) without bargain, am i chopped?

Just collected my Carl Zeiss lenses today. Didn't receive any card. I only saw half of the logo on one side of my lenses. Requested for the card and they will call me within 3 days. There is even a tiny fine hairline scratch on the right side middle part of the lenses. Felt cheated.

Saw a Tag Heuer Urban 7 0512 matt. Very nice material and design. Anyone knows where and what kind of price i can get with good discount? Rayban 5277 (matt finish)is very similar but is much cheaper and made in China while Tag Heuer is made in France.
