Well...my take is...if u take good care...how fragile also no problem

for zenith I don't think it is that fragile cos the temple seem to be thicker. But you have just have to take care of it.

I guess I was too naive to think that such expensive frame will have the toughness of oakley. One day I wanted to take off my frame, I pulled the temples and snap, one of the temple just broke.

Now I am wearing Oakley bottle rocket. But damn this spec is heavy. So hoping to get Infinity from Staffan Preutz soon.

tag specs are getting more expensive, when i first got mine a couple of years back it was $600, then subsequently i got another pair at $700+

now the newer ranges are at least $800+.

i wanted to replace the sides for my tag specs, a pair will cost $240!

I think the current inflation situation is partly due to all these crazy price hike by luxury brands!!

What in the world.. that's just plain foolish. Might as well get Alain Milki\Mykita\Less than Human blabla. Tag frames aren't even that well-made. At 500-600, maybe still acceptable, but 800+.

true but the thing is that i have headache when i wear other brands, so far only tag heuers spec with the rubber side is able to provide me with a comfort wear. that why i have been wearing tag specs since then. perhaps it time to seek other style and models to make my money worth.

I'm wearing a pair of rimless titanium frames from Paris Miki with plastic 1.74 index lens, made 3+ yrs ago. I would like to make a similar pair now, but since might eventually consider Lasik, wondering if I can get a better deal from neighbourhood shops ?
My power is quite high (-9.00+), so I was told Nikon 1.74 is the only option.

Anyone know how much a Nikon 1.74 lens costs in small neighbourhood shops ? Or any other brand that is more affordably priced ?
