Looking for a good pair of shades for use when engaging in seasports... was considering oakley but gave up as cannot use prescribed lens (very expensive to do so in any event)...

Any recommendations?

seasports? don't you need google for seasport?

well if u need prescription for sport, no choice but to pay high. I was quoted prescription lens for Oakley juliet 240 just for lens, but the lens is not oakley lens. For oakey lens, might need to pay 400-500 just for lens.

cheaper alternative is to wear adidas with clip-on extension and rudy project also has.

was planning to buy adidas Soulsta and put clip-on, but quoted 240 for Oakley Juliet lens which is not so expensive. maybe next time will just get oakley and make prescription.

bencoolean street. the shop is Designer Eyewear something something, cannot remember, don't have the receipt with me.

The frame alone is 500+. If with lens will discount to 400+. I just made 2 weeks ago for total $800, frame with lens. Still waiting to collect as my color and size need to order first.

And this frame is very very light. One of the lightest if not the lightest I have ever seen. Compared to tag heuer reflex, reflex is heavy. When I tried, I can barely feel it cos it is so light.

I bought a pair for my wife from Nanyang optics Causeway Pt. Service is gd.
The range is from 450 - 500 max, depending on the series. i got the one in the pic, original price for the frame is $460. Together wif 600 deg, 1.67 (thickness) lens, the total cost is $600 net.
need to order de, collecting in abt 1.5months time.

Yes it is v light and comfortable.

$600 with lens is not expensive though. My lens is expensive because I have degree of 400 plus astigmatism of -3. To make the lens thin cost more.

yea mine still not finished yet. may need 1 month I think.

I don't think zenith can be changed to prescription. The 2 lenses are in 1 piece and this kind of lens can only be made by Tag. Tag don't do prescription lens, so I don't think it is possibe.
