wow nice mykitas. How much you got them for? I'm kinda peeved at the sky high prices in SG when it's sooo much cheaper back in the original country, germany or smth? Forgot already.

That tag rubber arms thingy is severely over-rated. There are TONS of imitation tags that have the same rubber ear stems, go see queensway, looks like 80% of the real deal, minus the 20% which is the tiny ass logo nobody's gonna notice. Please don't tell me it's what F1 rubber and all that, it's friggin rubber for goodness sake. Not that i've anything against people who buy tag, but when everyone keeps on harping on the rubber thingy when it's not even that big of a deal, it's lame

You can try your luck at this spectacle shop in the Adelphi, the building opposite Funan that sells all the hifi stuff. They carry quite alot of high end brands. And if i didn't remember wrongly, there's this shop in far east, level 3/4, it's near the escalator, the part of far east with the fountain thingy. I remember them carrying some high end brands too

Well..the nobody's gonna notice part..u r wrong..coz i do look at ppl's rubber frames for the tag logo. I would say it suits my style now...subtle and 1 of my fav brands.

Actually tag looks nice and comfortable, the problem is there are too many clones now. Some clones even got tag logo. The only way to make sure is to touch the logo. Authentic logo is engraved, fake is printed. But you won't touch the glasses of people you know mah, so quite difficult to see. haha

my oakley sq wire rubber parts are spoilt, the nose rests needs a replacement as well.
do they do free replacements?
the last time i went was the one at tanjong pagar, they replaced the whole frame for me because my old c wire was not available anymore. i wonder if the square wire 2 is still available

yeah, sometimes when I look at celebs pics, they seem to have awesome glasses, which is why I know about mykita. other great brands are Tom Ford and Chrome Hearts, but they are even more expensive.

haha, so your doc wear mykita? yeah these high end frames certainly look good and different. They just can fit most people's faces. My gf has been looking for an aviator frame and until now the mykita BOB is the only one looks good on her. Too bad it is loose on her head. She is still jealous cos it fits me.

well the price? below 400 SGD. I bought in UK so the price is around there. considering mykita price here is 700-800, pretty cheap eh. why? interested? haha.

as for tag, sometimes just by looking at the color you will know it is fake as Tag don't come out with many colors. And I think Tag is not really overated since their style is unique, but the clones kind of ruined Tag's uniqueness though. But in Singapore it cost 600-700? it is way overpriced. I even once saw Tag rimless cost 2k-3k in Orchard. Seriously rimless for 3k?

Nah, i mean the rubber ear stems are over-rated, not the brand itself. It is quite over-priced tho. Few years ago when my friend first got his pair it was 500-600. Even then it was considered quite a handsome price, considering how most RX oakleys go for 300-400 BACK then.. now the same oaks go for 400-500, it's insane. btw bangkibong, judging from the way you speak, you're not based in SG?

haha, the price is also when on sale. which is why cheaper. yeah germany have lots of nice brands. I am based in Singapore btw although I am not Singaporean, last time my fren study at UK so can ask him 'scout' then deliver to me. so a lot of my specs are delivered to me.

anyway specs in Singapore are always overpriced. I was told it is because they cannot sell a lot of specs daily. They have to put high prices to survive. Just look at oakley, in US is 400+, here is 700-800? tag heuer also.
