I always see one guy on the same bus as me wearing this specs...damn funky

I know, I own a pair as well. BUT I have no idea where except Eyelink at West Mall in Tampines, and KoolLook in Suntec City that carries this brand.

Eyelink is way too far (and let's not start with expensive); and Suntec is just plain daylight robbery for a pair of these, though they were kind enough to order for me the model that they did not carry.

And all of that was two years ago, so looking for a new pair now. Help on the north area... :look:

Oh, the people at Parasite and the website is not updated. I have checked out those already. I got a warehouse place, and another really weird location for the second address. Damn...

But it's alright, I got wind that they have a retailer in Northpoint selling this frames. Gonna head there one of these days since it's only like ten minutes away from where I stay. Thanks peeps! :s12:

Brand New Authentic Gucci Eyeglass Frames.

Hi all,
I dunno y I'm not succeeding in posting this on the sales list so here goes...

Am selling my Brand New Authentic Gucci Eyeglass Frames.
I wanna get another pair which I fell in love with this weekend...

Model: GG-9601J HQ6
Recently collected from Spectacle Hut. It's a very pretty pair... Sleek and Stylish!

Comes with auth card, auth label case and cloth.
75deg for left eye and 100deg for right eye. You can remove the lenses and fit the frames with prescriptive lenses.

Selling at $320 (slightly neg for fast deal). You can rarely get an auth Gucci at this crazy price!

Kindly note that I'm selling it at a hefty loss as I paid $560 for it. Interested, pls sms to91449893 with your email address for pics.

Thanks!

Both my eyes are ard 900 +/-.. and slightly low astig(less than 75).. i went to a few optical shop and quote on prices for contact lenses..

One of the optician told me since my astig isnt that high.. maybe i could consider doing w/o astig since the prices will go up for doing with astig..

I knw that a few peeps here are more knowledge on this.. Jes wanna knw if it is ok to do w/o astig for my case..

Sorry.. i being wearing spec for a long time and wanna try on contact lenses.. :)

Yeap..anyway that day that SA was telling me...might be able to order in orange..wah damn chio man..but red nicer cos it matches my watch :p
It is track just that i dunno the model number. Spectacle Hut SA told me it was newer range. Discount 20%, smlj la, everywhere also offer this discount.

I think their margin must be very high. Anyone knows where can squeeze the price lower?

No astig means you might see some things wrongly from far.

I got this problem sometimes when I use contact lens. It's not a big problem to me.

Hope this helps.

I just bought a Swissflex frameless spectacles. one of their new model.

my degree for left and right eye is 175 and 200. Astig about 100.

Lens is polycarbonate from Essilor. Anti-scratch, mutli coat, UV, Hi index

total = $390

was it a good deal?

I would suggest that when anyone ask for the price of lens, it is better to tell them your degree and the material and refractive index you want, even perhaps the coating as well. Some shops quote less because they assume your power is low and will choose a normal or mid-index plastic while others quote higher based on hi-index lens and better coating. Transitions come in various lens blank (different material and different RI) according to the user's preference, hence the difference in price. It is hard to tell whether the price is good or not if one posts here with incomplete information.

_MaoMao_: I believe you can do better at the price but important thing is you are happy with it. If yours comes with the Crizal Avance coating, then the price is decent. Otherwise, you can get the same thing in JB for about RM600 or less.

My opinion is that swissflex is rather comfortable lightweight glasses and quite good value amongst the brand names but depending on the individual, their rimless specs is not the "in trend" model and may not be suitable for sports without the cable temples.

Spectacle hut is not a "best price" spectacle shop, the Gucci Titanium model can be had brand new for about $400 with lens in that low degree, even in Japan. Granted that spectacle hut is selling for less than the suggested RRP, at $560, it is still a very decent profit for them and a rip-off to you.

in trend now is white 1/2 frame specs? and tag heur rubber band grip style?

i tried on white 1/2 frames. doesnt look good.

i am also not looking for a specs to play sports. my swissflex is for my uni studies. for sports i would wear my army specs.

this Crizal Avance coating.. is the coating from the essilor lens? if i am not wrong my specs should be swissflex air.

Bro $390 is alright price but frankly speaking can get for $350 in singapore. anyway the $40 diff is not much and if you walk ard wasting time n energy to find the cheapest specs also not worth the $40.

Crizal coating is from essilor
