ok.. thank you.. found his thread at marketplace..

Aldric's shop is at Thomson Plaza, Sin Chew Optics.
The 2 ladies there are also very helpful.
Not sure if the range of IC Berlin is huge there, but he does have quite a few to choose from. Good luck!

What's the difference between Silhouette and Swissflex? Both seem rather similar. Would go for Tag if not for the price.

I own swissflex n I find its by far the best, its affordable,so light, customizeable as well, good workmanship, virtually unbreakable with normal usage.practical in the sense,u can change the design once in a while, but must buy the parts lah

Hi,

How much you got your Ray Ban? Any recommended shop with a good range? Thanks.

Try Paris Miki. Surprisingly they got quite a good range of Ray-Ban at the Tampines One outlet.

hmm.i tink the frame price they will mark up a bit to cover the 50%discount...but the main part where they earn will be via lens i tink.they will try to make u make the slightly expensive lens to earn back on the frame discount...just my point of view

need some help here also, can anyone recommend me lens for highly curved frames?....cuz my degree high,if make normal lens will be very thick....best if the lens can minimise distortion...
My friend just bought a pair from EyeChamp @Nex.

$130 for 1.56 CRIZAL advanced
Puma specs frame cost 140 after 50% disc

Maybe the lens are a little bit more expensive. I'm going to do one later, maybe I can try to bargain. Am I right to say that the only difference between 1.56 and 1.6 is that 1.6 lenses are thinner?

Crizal lenses have a few range. The sales lady says that the lens are the premium range (I believe is Forte). Anyway to confirm?

Thanks man. Hmm..but the lenses are plastic ya? Thinking if there is a need to do unbreakable.

I need to do lenses of 850 degrees, so I guess I should go for 1.6 and above?

But Pari Miki tend to be quite ex.

I thought so too initially.
A friend of mine made a pair at Marina Sq (?) and the price is reasonable.
I pop in to see the frames, they've got a range with different prices too.

so, did you compare the puma frame to other outlets and concluded that it is indeed cheaper at Eyechamp?
