yea still the best pricing, chop chop do for u as well... anyway nowadays every lens laboratory have very tight timelines to meet, everywhere they have alot of orders to complete, they cant really sit down there take their time to do it nicely for u, so even u go to those expensive shop to make & pay extra, you also wont get better quality craftsmanship as well.

So i would say, yup, just go for the queensway. Pardon me for longwinded.

This is Kadoya Jinjiro. S$350 inclusive of shipping. Not the best celluloid frame, comparing to the others in my collection, but a very high standard piece of work no less. This is from his standard collection. I've found what suits me, so no need to custom make any.

Yes, my nose is a little high, but the nose bridge bony and narrow. The rest of the head, BIG. Temple length of 145 just about fits, though 150 will be perfect.

I like to feel that, for what I paid for almost each of my frames, the price for the quality and worksmanship is very high value. This is very personal, of course. But I am not loaded in the currency department, just an ordinary bespectacled guy with lot of love for handmade old-school celluloid frames.

I buy from a few old men lah! lol

ya expensive lens, i was hoping to be like the tv commercial ad. scratches- I wear since dec 12 no scratches yet. but plastic is very clear like glass. The effect of the turning dark lens when outside is fast.

find that it trap dust and smudge faster than my previous zeiss lens..

will be avoiding crizal...con by the advert

Any solution for lenses for spec for high degree and astig, i have around 800+ myopia and 200 astig.. my spec look kinda geeky, if you what i meant due to the high degree.. any ways to make the lenses look less dense??

Good for you, bro! Japanese yen looks set to drop for some time, so do you get your frames cheaper or same cost? So Kadoya Jinjiro must be one of the old men, but why are you so afraid that you wont be able to get such frames that you like? Surely there will be others to continue with his work??

Cheaper. I have to say, Japanese celluloid handmade frames are a dying art. I admit part of it is hype, but I haven't seen anything else quite like them.

Of course, when these uncles are gone, the brands will/may continue, but the frames, made by another pair of hands, will never be the same again.

queensway got good brand of eyewear meh? try japanese frames la, you either love them till your pants drop or you hate it. hahaha
