emos....went for lasik checkup doctor dont really recommend due to low degree....so now back to getting specs...wanna get 2 spectacles and 2 sunglasses any recommendation? looking at highend ones. currently considering tag heur L series any other around this range?

Dont lasik la.. Whats the point. Later after u lasik u stare at pc whole day then short sighted again. Waste $ waste effort most importantly waste your cornea tissue jin jualak. Don forget u will get laohua, cataract etc when u are old then surgery again??

Specs is your best option la. They are your best friends. Can help u mould your look as well. Wear them right you look stylish korkor.

Sunglass i suggest u go for oakley or rayban very stylo.

If you are used to tagheuer then suggest u look for similar styles like mykita, bywp etc.

If you want smeting different, can try japonism, but at your own risk. Not everyone has the sane fit.

Any one can recommend where to get dun frames other than kwong shin?

If you stay in the north side, besides nanyang optical stores, there is a heartland optical shop at chong pang called optical 66. But they carry a narrow range although you can ask them to order in for you. Worth a look. Heartland prices:)

ups for fellow members to help :s12:

Could it be the nosepad and bridge is not adjusted by the optician yet?

Plastic frame do not have nosepad therefore it is closer to your eye.

While those with nosepad are metal, half plastic , ultem need to be adjust once you collect at the optical shop..:)

Kwong Shin carries a wide range of frames. From economical ones to high-end ones.
Select based on your budget.
Saw a great selection of Korean frames - light, comfy and affordable.

any idea what are their business operating hours?
Thanks for your reply :)

Made a pair of spectables at Capitol Optical, using Crizal 1.59 Airwear Forte. The frame is a normal frame which they give 50% discount. The price of lens given is $190 from the brochure.

Just wondering the possibility of bargaining down the price of the lens, or anyone have the experience.

Thanks.

anyone wearing progressive lens here? I need a pair but not sure what kind of frame will be good for it, i hears the frame needs to fit really well as having 3 viewing zones makes it difficult for the eye and brain to adapt.
