what do you guys think of the brand Gentle Monster? is it popular in Sg?

not popular in Sg yet, but very popular in South Korea. many of the k pop stars don it.

I personally feel that their designs are very nice.

I have bought online before. From Bike Bug.

if getting online i would recommend Pro-Vision 88 located at whampoa makan place. because of the neighbourhood setting their pricing are lower than market discounted pricing. can check out their fb shop to have a look and compare with pricing online.
Just my humble recommendation
do correct me if im wrong.
Cheers

Any recommendation for good 100% or UV 400 Sunglasses brands/shops?

I'm planning to invest in a gd quality sunglasses that offer 100% UV protection for eyes as I have a current existing dry eyes problem. Pls recommend me some good optical shops that can give me a good advice on obtaining a good pair of sunglasses.

Any recommended brands & shops?

Thanks

Beyond a certain minimum price, most sunglasses are the same, as there is a law stating the required UVA and UVB protection levels the lenses must have.

No offence to the Ray-Ban lovers here, but ever since Luxottica bought over the brand, I've read that the quality isn't the same, while the price has been jacked up 2-3 times due to Luxottica's monopoly. Many brands, including Oakley, Coach etc are under their umbrella, all made in the same factories. Source: https://youtu.be/voUiWOGv8ec

There are some brands they don't own. Offhand I can think of American Optical or Randolph Engineering. Personally, I'll be getting a pair of Randolphs soon. They are built tough and as a plus they offer a lifetime warranty on the frame's solder joints.

Hey all, seeking advice here as I'm very sad I have to lose my Maui Jims.

Am using my second pair of Maui Jims, the Alelele Bridge - https://www.mauijim.com/US/en_US/shop/sunglasses/aviators/alelele-bridge

After trying multiple Raybans and Oakleys, Mauis are amazing because they have a lifetime warranty, a super light and bendable frame, and one of the best polarized lenses I've ever used for bright sunlight (Done a lot of long drives overseas)

However nowadays, my phone tempered glass protectors come polarized as well, and I can't see my phone screen at all when I put my shades on.

Due to the shape of my head (big head lol) , I need a soft bendable frame, if not I will get the migraine from the veins at the side of my head.

Can anyone recommend a good model for the following requirements, open to try other brands:

- Non Polarized Aviators, or bigger lens
- Soft bendable plastic frames
- Lightweight

Meanwhile, I have two pairs of Maui Jims I probably have to let go :(
