it actually feels diff.. brands like armani, rayban,marc jacobs,burbeerry feels lighter...brands like prada, gucci actually feels heavier...
the hinges feels much stronger. and the shades lasts longer. But of course you pay higher prices. And watch the country of origin. "made in italy" feels like better. got 2 pair of sunglasses, same brand, but one made in italy, one made in japan. which one feels better. i think you should know the ans.

skye.., Hisokaka have replied to you the reason.

Prada to me is more of a designer/fashion brand. I believe that they don't make their own frames. Just provide the design to a frame maker and brand it to them. This does not mean that they will be inferior in quality, just that you will need to pay more for a product that is of the same quality. Or a product which is lower quality if it is priced the same as the brands that make their own frames. (my 2 cents...)
