Wallet selection

I'm in a fix over which wallet to get. Either get a affordable one like Picard or Braun buffel or go for branded ones like LV, gucci or prada. Personally, I quite like the Prada saffiano wallet but seems to me mainly ladies use Prada, a bit similar for LV. LV I prefer those with coin pouch. Sadly to say, Prada, LV are still quite steep for price but I believe the quality is there. THen there's braun and picard which are more affordable but not sure worth the price in terms of quality? Anyone knows typically with normal usage. how long can braun wallet and say prada, LV wallet last? Thanks

if you're feeling generous, why not consider something by Bottega Veneta? Cost ard 600 - >800 for guys wallet. pretty steep but the leather is gorgeous - hand sewn double layer calfskin. it's reallllly delicious. (i myself am using a classic BV wallet (cost SGD 830 so i'll probably use it for another 10 years down the road haha)

if you want something more 'macho-looking' from LV, do consider the Epi series. it's more subtle, and definitely more unique. pricing wise i believe will be higher than the usual monogram or damier series.

I doubt I will get another LV wallet...haha first 1 already bad experience. But I m happy with my Prada wallet...I'm lovin it!

BV...can consider but still not a fan of BV yet haha...

Cutting down my luxury products and phones budget for this year lol....diverting to watches =X

budget above $100, but hope to keep it below $250...

i know braun buffel, agnes b wallet...any other to recommend?

Not true for overseas expats here. I know a fair bit of Europeans use Prada over LV. I prefer Prada myself. It's more refined and elegant. LV just looks so messy to me.

I am using the Prada Saffiano leather wallet which is great so far, almost a year now and still solid. I have also another LV wallet which I just sold,but I still prefer Prada. So what if more ladies use Prada? It's a really nice and understated wallet. Since the time I bought it until now...nobody could tell what my wallet was it's PERFECT! I paid $420 for mine with a coin pouch...I dun think it's expensive...coz LV 1s cost $700+ for those with coin pouch.

I think Bruan Buffel or Picard could last a decent 2-3 years...LV or Prada I think can last ard 5 years onwards. But I m gonna change my wallet after 2 or 3 years..or when my hands itchy hehe sure cannot tahan the itch for so long

Like I said previously...if you go by branding get MB...

But comments from MB users were that leather will start to spoil after like 1 year...cannot last 1. My dad's MB wallet also same thing...

My bro is using BB now...I think it's really durable...very solid...maybe it can last year 1-2 years. At least it's cheap also hehe
