think it's better that you buy if you like the material and design..brand should be secondary..

Yeap I agree, don't really know the brand very well actually but judging from a few of your opinions I'm sure the quality is excellent! Its one of the 2 designs that actually appeal to me but the other(burberry) doesn't seem to be very well received especially since real leather doesn't seem to be involved in most of its construction.

Most of importantly of all I can find the BV for cheaper! Apparently its sold for much more than burberry over here so I guess its more worth my money! And I'm quite sure bluefly's products are authentic just that selection is very limited. Apparently its a very popular branded goods retailer in the US and they always seem to have discount codes!

hermes is one of the best leather maker.. brands like LV, prada, gucci etc also cannot compare.. their products especially bags are so exclusive that not even all celebrities carry them... some of their bags even need to book years in advances.. singapore's zoe tay only got 1 if i not wrong..

i read somewhere that BV and hermes take their leather from the same supplier, what they do to it then is different. so leather wise should be around the same except for the treatment that they do?

saw hermes at DFS last wk $1800 or $1900 for a men's wallet. they only have 2 type, blue or brown i think. just plain normal looking wallet. i see the price i couldn't be bothered already. u must have more money then sense to buy this.

imo, coin compartment in wallet spoils the wallet in the long run, i.e deforms it. and some more need to pay more for the wallet cause of the coin compartment. if u go out with bag or something, why not consider a coin pouch to complement the wallet? longchamp has a small coin pouch that is nice and costs only 59.

I see. But I also prefer with a plastic compartment. Example, you put your ic or a photo and you can see when you open your wallet
