I wanted the grey version in the first place too, but the girl over the counter told me it was last season, so they're not bringing it in anymore. Guess their staple color is brown and black, and any other colors they will clear at each season.

In the end i got the dark brown, coz my friend got the black, and seriously, you can really see the wear and tear on blacks. Coz the leather trimmings will fray.

The Grey version is :

113993/V6141/1244
RAIN
VINTAGE INTRECCIATO
4 x 4 IN.

The Brown version is :

113993/V4651/2040
EBANO
VITELLINO NAPPA
4 x 4 IN.

So that means the Grey version is an older version? Or is there any new version coming up? Do you mean the dark brown won't fray?

The thread say the one you have maybe better than the Vintage intrecciato. It maybe soft and not firm? While I feel the dark brown and the black version is much more firm. What's your say?

haha yes i was suprised too when i first saw the BV personally as it felt more firm, as compared to the pics in the website. advertisement ploy? haha. i guess ultimately after constant usage, it would age beautifully and become smooth? any other ideas?

i like prada for its classic looks but their leather used is similar to bulgari and sometimes those corporate gift wallets. :D

so still sticking to Vuitton.

Personal preference la...see how you look at it.

My fren is going to france...he ask if I want any LVs...I say I ok I go check. Then go home...re look the whole catalog again...cant find anything that's nice..though I can get it cheaper.

I got my belt and my wallet....nothing else left that i need leh...

But come to think of it again...LV is so common...like not exclusive anymore. I dun mind getting a prada...lesser people use,and more low profile. :D which is what i m looking into recently.

yes i agree. no offence to lv lovers here but when choosing between a lv multiple and a bv intrecciato, i chose BV for its understatedness. BV's line is "when your own initials is enough" signifies its plan to be understated. that prada wallet is quite understated too. But my take is if u tell people thats prada, they would go wow. but if u say its BV some people would be :s11:. once they are enlightened, then they would go wow. hahahaha. my take. no offence ah darkangle

If given you a choice now, you never got the Ebano. Will you still get Vintage intrecciato if able to buy in town?
