I thought so too but it seems like its too rough an estimate as SG price might hike up certain percentage in addition to the conversion.

Im also considering BV too but IMO its too causal looking for a boss birthday.

Any advice or anyone?

Yes you are right to say that, usually it is slightly more expensive here. But at most the diff should be around $100+.

BV too casual? I don't think so,and prices are way cheaper compared to Hermes.

Or you can try Prada?

cannot decide on which one to get! the prada stripes mordore (sgd$680) versus the louis vuitton monogram elise wallet (sgd$775). now there's someone who is able to help me get the elise wallet at sgd$660 as the pounds have dropped quite a bit to the singapore dollar. so i don't know which one to choose. i have a louis vuitton 6 credit card slot but am getting irritated because it doesn't have a coins compartment. have it for 1.5 years already and it still looks like new.

anyone has encountered any problems with prada's leather wallet? i read some of the gucci's guccissima leather has got problems like the colour coming off and stuff like that. more comments please? will the logo drop off like some of the miu miu's alphabets? i want something that can last a long time.

I believe Prada have a risk of dropping off...but Prada will replace though...that's wad my SA told me
