That's what I thought.

Since my wallet isn't going to last me 3 years, I might as well get a $100 wallet and change it every 2 to 3 years.

Btw, I'm not against the common brands since everyone likes them for a good reason.

For e.g. LV Taiga range is an excellent buy imho. Too bad alot of business clients use them. It would look awkward on my part if I whip out something exactly the same as the person sitting opposite me.

I like a fuss free walllet; I have never in my life conditioned a wallet and don't intent to. For the past 3 wallets I have, it has been BB. On my current wallet (12cc + 1 photo ID design), my cards have been bending and breaking; I sometimes forget taking out my wallet when I sit, most of the time in the car.

In the time I have written my last post on this topic, my DBS card just cracked. I am truly frustrated.

I conclude that I need a wallet with a premium hard leather with a simple design while holding nearly as much cards(8cc at least). while this may not solve my problem entirely, it would certainly help in the long run (for those long car trips)

Reading the long thread posted by the community here, it seems my orginal first choice MB wouldn't help. my bet will be on Dunhill or Prada. Never though I would think of Prada since I usually go for masculine dominated brands. But MeRfMeRf kinda sold me on Saffiano leather pitch.

their saffiano leather i would say require very little maintenance and rather durable, i remb got 1 bro say he had a scratch on his wallet, bt after a few weeks of usage, the scratch "disappeared" its like the wallet had the ability to cure itself

anyway 1 thing to note when u go buy a Prada wallet is to check for the QC of the workmanship, ask the SA to show you all avail pieces from the store rm based on your selected design and chose the 1 you most comfortable and best piece avail coze sadly Prada/MiuMiu still has some minor QC issues.

I bought a bulgari wallet, well, what I can comment is one cent one quality.
Overall, do not want to get something which you can see many on the street by paying that kind of price.

well another brand of wallets thats not many hav would b Hermes. their wallets priced from 1k+ upwards.

BB as in Braun Buffel? if it is then alot of dept stores usually have a counter for their leather goods, BHG, Metro, Robinsons, Tangs, OG, Taka or even their boutique at Suntec. Discounts wise, maybe you might wana wait for GSS which will start soon if not i think there are usually some form of discounts offered at those dept stores.
